Okay, if you want to consistently win the leadership boards, you can do so with a fully upgraded stamina bar. Take the morning and afternoon class, then train by yourself in the evening. That should be enough that you can do very well.

I recommend only taking 3 classes a week and just studying all night to top the cognitive leaderboard. Those classes take up 3/4ths of a timeslot (you can do something else with your first of four stamina when maxed out, but if you do more it'll complain that class is already in session), so it's a huge waste of time if you have free study sessions and lots of energy. Spend the saved time on combat or even studying. Although I haven't done the math on how much class affects your leaderboard score vs studying, so take it with a grain of salt.

I've done the math.

If you bail on classes and just study at night, you can get one more cognitive point than if you took both classes that day. If you spend the whole day studying, you're way ahead. You can get 1 additional point if you study all day except to use 3/4 energy to attend morning and midday classes, so I suppose it's not a total waste of time.

I am not sure they'd need to change that very much but add a plethora of alternative internal MC monologues and conversations with the girls.

Next to everything below a "leaving for Magneto's base and taking all your smitten GFs with you to work for him" plot could also be played out as an evil infiltrator who got immune to mindreads and works on disrupting the young heros with internal strife and turning their daily life into a raging cauldron of jealousy and depravity.

i mean if you go for action efficiency (guetting 3 or 4 energy) you can outdo her easilly already... if you go for both lecture and combat it is somewhat harder but you can even combine dating and the 2 if you max out efficiency and classes bonuses

I think when I stopped trying I had ~70 on the combat board, the third placed were 32.. and her score shot from 74 to 181 IN ONE DAMN DAY.

And no, as I recall, my danger-room rank or w/e it is called never went up either.
I am just guessing things like that are meant to become story milestones, not grind-jobs

It's actually quite possible to beat Laura with max energy/time. Even to do it while simultaneously beating Jean in Cognitive.

But basically for Laura/Jean every time they train/study, they get 3 points (or 3 times? I can't remember) in their specialty.

This also includes when YOU train/study with them. So you'll never beat either by constantly working with them, you need solo sessions for that.

They also only do at most 1 session per time slot on their own, while you only get 1 or 3 points per session, you can do MULTIPLE sessions in one time slot, out pacing them as long as you train/study solo, since you can do 5 sessions in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, 4 in evening, 5 at night(Night is limited to only studying as danger room is closed).

Again, this is all mainly projection into the future, as it's impossible to unlock all the time saving/leaderboards boosting abilities right now, but it is/will be possible.

That thought suddenly made the whole "segregated school for X-gene people" idea seem much more of a sensible decision than just a sad necessity for their survival.
Imagine the amount of goth girls you'd end up with in school, when there are empirically proven witches/magic users around and vampires do indeed exist.
How would a young hormone-driven guy ever be able to concentrate on a book again, ffs?

I always try to max love/trust asap so getting max on board was less of a time immediate issue. I did like the idea that as more perks are unlocked that in the future it gets easier to get better spots on the board. Simulates Null getting better and not needing to spend as much time. Smart design.

Glad we have the hardcore crunchers mathing things out and also figuring out what we already knew in many cases; that going to class is a waste of time.:ROFLMAO:
