i wonder since laura is a clone of wolverine, when they made her did they go metal gear on her and remove her ability to have children, and make it so she ages faster too? or did they keep most of her o' natural and only gave her two claws & a x chromosome?

Basically just the regen, claws, and being a women.

After the program guys lost Wolverine they decided that they needed someone they could mold from birth to maintain control. Logan was also the only one that responded well to the X Weapon program so a clone was needed. The material that they still had from Logan was damaged enough that they couldn't replicate the Y chromosome without damaging results in their recreations. So a scientist lady used her own material mixed with Logan and made a girl clone.

They didn't do any constant rapid aging things like Solid Snake who was designed to be disposable after a certain shelf life since they wanted her to be used as much as they needed. Also that would be difficult given regen.
Not sure if she can have kids, but they did blast her with enough radiation growing up to cause radiation poisoning to accelerate her X-Gene activation. So unless regen fixed it later that might be an issue. She only has adamantium on her claws unlike Logan who has full skeleton, so she is quicker and theoretically might have faster regen but I don't remember if that has been tested.

It's a really interesting read. I can't go into too much detail other than it does explore how the 60s versions of the characters really clash with more modern flashbacks.


In fairness, before the Age up, Kitty was her babysitter. Often reading her bedtime stories and preparing meals for her.

Most of the ones currently outlined are between characters who are really close in the comics or rivalries. Safe to assume Emma and Jean won't enjoy sharing a man but that doesn't mean interesting, and even sexy, things won't happen.

Edit: We will be doing original pairings in instances where it makes sense. Rogue and X-23 being social outcasts nudged into being friends makes sense in the context of Earth-69. So if things line up due to age ups and story adaptations, you can safely assume that we'll bring something interesting to the table.


I don't know how the coding works but personally I'd go with a toggle. Doing the legwork to invite a girl into the poly is one thing. Doing the legwork to tell them each individually not to do stuff to each other would be time consuming and require even more porn logic.

Laura has had children in different realities.

Thing is that Laura wasnt really finished, she escaped the facility very young (12 to 14), so theres no telling what the full extent of what they wanted to do to her was, maybe they would have given her a full adamantium skeleton once she was fully grown, her clones had their ability to feel physical pain removed and aged faster (wich could be undone, as shown by Gabby), so had the dehumanizing process been complete and had Laura's mother not help her break out, theres no telling how exactly X-23 would have turned out, probably a full on terminator.

All around the program didnt seem interested in training Laura in social situations to use her charms to kill like Black Widow, Kimura was more interested in brutalizing her and the scientists were more than fine just leaving her in her containment cell or doped most of the time, unless one of the scientists had the idea to go full Alma Wade on her, i dont think they saw any reason to mess with her reproductive aparatus (not that it would take once she developed her regeneration, but still).

Like i said before, Laura was the baseline and proof of concept, once she proved to be a good weapon, the facility could have sold all kinds of X-23s, from the cheap models with just the bone claws and limited training and gestation time, to the ultra gucci, full adamantine, cyborg kind.
