hi, im curious about that, does these " bad quirks" have some kind of repercussions on the story? (I couldn't play the game so cant check myself)

They're not harmful so no.
Normally a girl will behave like she did in the comics. Or to the closest approximation because we have to update characters written in the 60s and 70s to fit within the mid-2000s.
However, there are specific parts of their personality we have labeled quirks. As in personality quirks. You as the player have the ability to encourage these quirks or discourage them.
If you encourage them, these parts of their personality are exaggerated.
Laura borderline stalks you to protect you.
Rogue becomes co-dependent, more comfortable letting you make decisions.
Jean's need to be the best and in control reveals her "Big Sister" personality. Which does a little faux-incest play.
We are actively working on retooling things so it's not a binary. Like you can have Jean be your big sis but draw a line in the sand saying you won't let her dictate your life. Same with Laura, she can stalk you but you can confront her and make it clear that she can't act like she's your dom.
For the initial girls, I'm not 100% on future girls, these are coping mechanisms that aren't exactly healthy but they're not all too harmful either. It's all just kinky fun.
TL;DR
There are no punitive repercussions for encouraging quirks.

So, it's cool that you guys are reducing grind and stuff, but does that mean I'll have to start again to experience these new interactions and other content?
The Dev team hasn't suggested to me any delay issues or mentioned any holiday plans getting in the way. We'd let you guys know far in advance. Unless something unexpected happens last minute that's impossible to plan for. Like if Grandma slipped and broke her hip.
For most of the content, you shouldn't need to. However, some random sandbox events are season-specific. Some side content also makes more sense to experience it throughout the chapter rather than last minute.
I left for a bit but rejoined the patreon but the discord link seems broken. Did the Devs delete it? and if so, is there a new place to follow em? Peeved at paying for discord access to follow game only for it to seemingly vanish

Activating the console gives an error when trying start the game

Most common issue with utf-8 is when editing 00console.rpy, your text editor default converts it to ANSI on save rather than preserving the utf-8 encoding. Literally makes it choke on startup because it can't read.
Can someone please drop a save file with Jean already dated 3 time? I tried to text her multiple times of the day but the option never shows up no matter what I try.

Awesome I was just gonna ask about that, glad to know the idea of a middle ground is at least a consideration for the future. Would be kind of fun to have an option like getting to a point Laura recognizes you as the alpha, she could still stalk you and protect you but more because other people haven't earned the right to challenge you yet and have to go through her first
For Jean this could be an evolution from younger sibling that needs protection to more of the Dad role as you get stronger and possibly take on the team leader position, you are the rock that forms the core of the group but Jean is still there to help with the burden that comes with it thus allowing her to still be the motherly/big sister type. Also as a bonus it gives another angle for the pseudo incest kink she has.
Rouge could also have a route that lets her become more of a rebel and hot head, maybe like a tsundere type? Like she enjoys being protected and cared for but just has issues admitting to it because she was never really allowed to be that person. This would give the people who don't like the submissive Rouge options. Thinking about it more though that would kind of have to be her default personality where you could work through it to reveal her more submissive side for it to work well. Then again I suppose you could just add an option early on to choose current Rouge or spicy Rouge meaning you would just have to add a branch instead or recreating the old one.
To be fair I know most of these ideas would dramatically change things and could potentially triple the already lengthy word count and be too much of a burden to make it viable but I'm just the type of person that likes it when you can tailor a story to your tastes. Do you want the characters to be based heavily on their comic counterparts without much variation because it kills the character for you? You have that choice! Do you want to turn all the girls into a pseudo incest family even though it goes against the original characters because that's your kink? Go for it this is a porn game! Do you want to cuck Cyclops because his balls haven't dropped yet? So do I!
Honestly this game could stay just as it is, add in Kitty Pryde and maybe Jubilee at some point (I know I know 'make it more like Rouge Like why don't you' I just like those characters so shut up), and it would still be one of the best games on this site. Well done dev team keep up the good work!
I think It could use a "zoom in" when for example: you kiss each other. Would like to see the sprite upclose.

Eeeeh. I'm not sure how willing the writing team is willing to go for this. A big part of her character was that she didn't have any control over her life when she was at the facility. Making things more equal is definitely on the table but bossing her around? Not likely gonna happen.
A mom and dad dynamic could work down the line...
I mean we still have that planned regardless of her quirk. She feels safe and protected around the main character. She's still gonna be sassy and deck someone if they give her trouble. Especially if they cross a social boundary.

There are other characters who fit this role. Rogue inherently finds the idea of true love too appealing to resist. I mean she married Gambit of all people lol

Prrrreetty much. Remember that the writers have to include arm poses and facial expressions which gets more complicated with some of the less noticeable tics that you can notice without player prompt. (The primary reason why the dialogue is next to their head). There's so much we want to do but we can't because we want to do more than one update per year lol
Like we had an entire fourth archetype called "Insane" where Null was driven insane by his mutations. However not only would we have to write all that dialogue and attempt to make it entertaining, we will NEVER be as funny as Four Elements Trainer or Paprika Trainer, we'd have to adapt responses for every character and figure out how they'd still want to fuck you.

It's a choose your own adventure text story you can play online or on Steam. It's top-tier writing and I try get the writers to emulate its depth as much as possible. It's why the intro of The Null Hypothesis alone has like 5 or 6 variations and why we're leaning so hard into the archetypes.

Yeah, this isn't happening. Jean and Scott were never an item in our timeline. Gambit is still married to Belladonna (They make the marriage work in some canon timelines). If we take a girl from someone, and they're not irredeemable assholes, then we give them someone compatible.
I mean they're quite popular.
Already working on it. Not sure which update it's gonna be in but we have plans.
Is that the sound of a punched Gambit I'm hoping to hear?

My idea wasn't really about bossing her around but more of her discovering someone she willingly submits to of her own choice. It would be less about Null saying 'hey you belong to me now' and more of her saying 'this guy is worthy of my respect and I willingly follow him' it would even be pretty funny for Null to not know why she switches from dommy mommy to loyal follower. Then again I suppose this could be what you get with the third option already being considered. She tries to go full dom and you tell her 'no bad girl, I'm not your toy' and she listens because she starts respecting you more. You wouldn't even need to officialy get into the inferior/superior alpha/beta topic in game but based on her actions it's a tacit understanding that she acts this way out of respect for your strenth/authority/ingenuity/intellect/whatever
I do like the idea of someone seeing Rouge act submissive around Null then trying it and getting a 5 finger refusal for the trouble lol. To be honest I already really like where Rouge is so I was mostly playing devils advocate to think of an alternative route just to blance it out and have something for all 3

I guess it kinda feels like Mass Effect if you had a Paragon and Neutral choice but no Renegade option for some people and then the reverse for others...or like Fallout4. First of all never feel sorry for that, I'm convinced the writers of Four Elements Trainer sold more than just a measely soul to get that good at comedy and point the second this game lies much more in the serious realm where you just can't get away with similar levels of humor without drastically changing the feel of the entire game and personally I like the more serious tone. Makes it feel more impactful, not just the big events but even all the small filler stuff feels more important and meaningful.
