I have to add the disclaimer that I can't make any remarks on Earth-69's canon unless it's already publicly obtainable but in my outline I had it being MJ and Gwen Stacy.

Fair enough, and I'm very happy to learn Gwen survives (assuming your outline is finalized). I'd have assumed a couple other classics would be in there, including Betty Brant and Liz Allen and maybe a couple of supers, but I trust the chefs- I just want the boy to be HAPPY, DAMMIT, he deserves all the love. But seriously, what about Fel-

The writing team wants Null to have Felicia. Personally I'd be fine with Spidy having Felicia too but, as I've shown and eluded to multiple times, I'm a Peter Parker fanboy and am fighting to have him be your roommate in potential sequels.

I somehow missed that in his post. Felicia and Null just feels... wrong. I think we'd need a Netori tag on the game for stealing our boy Peter's girl. I know we do it already in the X-Men, but if Peter has a poly thing going like Null it feels just wrong for Felicia not to be with Spidey.

Hell yeah, I'm up for rooming with Spidey though. Or just hanging with Spidey in general.

I've completed Chapter 1, but I realised I've missed some optional objectives from spring.
Is there anyway of completing them?
They haven't triggered yet and I've been grinding for stats for a while. I have URM if theres a way to cheat them.

Because if the latter so i just recommend picking up from giant size x-men (do not buy from Marvel, read it online).

I always considered giant x-men to be more of a design document for concepts. Starting with Uncanny x-men #94 and just going forward from there makes a lot of sense. But yeah giant x-men is good. Happens right before 94 storywise so I guess that's a better start.

For what they used for inspiration for characters, you can actually look in-game in the database in the journal for each character.

For plotlines I think they said anything through Onslaught is fair game for inspiration so search online for "x-men story arcs in order" and start with Phoenix saga (Uncanny X-Men #101) and go through Onslaught saga.

That's pretty broad so when Boots or some other guy with comics a little fresher in their mind (last time I read was a decade ago almost) gets online like salscou they might help you refine it.

Have to agree, both for stealing girls from Spidey just feeling wrong and that rooming with Spidey in general would be great material.

Take into account that the game is condensing DECADES worth of content into a single year.
For example, you will not see Laura in classic X-men, shes a character from the 2000s, and Rogue doesnt show up until the 80s.

Problem with starting like that is that you start up in the middle of a story so you end up confused as to whats going on and who these returning characters are, or how they got there in the first place.

I know. The problem I was having was where to start covering the era of X-Men comics that this game covers, and if there were any collections that had the best of the arcs and not the stinkers. Comics are near impossible to get into due to the sheer volume of material and the inability to separate the chaff from the grain.

Edit: I also know not to buy any comics, wouldn't be on a pirate site if I didn't.

Right. So start Giant->94->->->->->->->->Onslaught Epilogue, Fill in with stories in the in-game database, watch x-men EVO, then go so mad from overload that Legion looks sane. Good plan?

This is the closest there is to a comprehensive reading guide of all the eras, including other comics when needed (like avengers or stuff like that).

Stan lee X-men is kind of a slog. I'd only recommend if you are a super super fan. Giant kind of set the stage for everything that came after. Might as well be a reboot. Decent enough start.

Hence why i didnt recommend startin with 62, Stan Lee's tenure of the x-men is interesting to see the infancy of what would end up being the X-men we knew (i say knew because current X-men are downright alien to anyone that grew up with them), but only if you REALLY want to see how this all came to be, if not stick with Claremont.

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of Vol 1 of Ultimate X-Men, it has some decent bits but as a whole it's super inconsitent and feels like it tries to hard to be edgy.

Oh man. I need a link to the last version .apk file if anyone still has it. Just saw this updated, so I uninstalled the old one and got the new one.... and this new version is running so slow that my choices and menu interactions are taking like 30 seconds to register. Not sure why since the previous version ran just fine, but this slowmo delay stuff just makes the game unplayable.

Did you try turning off the multithreading in the options? A lot of new systems were introduced this update made for beefy systems but compatibility settings for low end systems were also added.

Love the game. One thing I would add is some special remote vibrator actions, like the one we have with Laura. Perhaps during a study session with Jean?

I don't know how I didn't see that before, but it seems like it's an option that should be set to off by default for those of us playing on a phone or tablet.
