It was at the time, but recent stuff has retroactively damaged the brood's reputation.

Also, comic culture has changed, since everyone can now easily keep up with comics, consistent stories are the preferred format. Now X-Men back in the day was shockingly consistent in characterisation and story progression, it was still influenced by the culture of the time and the brood arc did come out of nowhere which means anyone from now reading the comics suddenly has to deal with an arc that comes out of nowhere and delays every other plot thread going on at the time, further ruining the brood's reputation.

Maybe more ideas will come with the additional locations and activities that will be added with the next versions.

I would not like to see companion clothing or accessories in the achievement store, it seems those are a bottleneck for the game and would rather what we get be available in the main game without needing to hunt down achievements to get. I like my Dress up game.

Everything else I get behind for possible achievement rewards. I'd rather have cosmetics than anything that is affecting gameplay.

That makes sense, i guess. The Brood definitely lost their luster over the years. I guess I need to re-read the OG Brood arc to see how jarring it is, I really only remember the storyline out of context, and Wolverine doing his hunter shtick all alone on the Brood planet IMG_0269.jpg is 10/10, on top of the X-Men finally "overcoming" their No-Kill rule, IMG_0275.jpg and all of the Thing-esque paranoia and mistrust IMG_0278.jpg made for great character development.

Yeah, I get it with the dressing girls fun, hence I suggested rather only minor fun things. You most likely won't let the girls wear something like shades either all the time anyway.
It was already mentioned that player deco stuff has low priority over girl stuff, thus perfect to slowly get added to the a-shop one by one, as you don't really need that but some might want to make their home room prettier.

It would be sad if the a-shop mainly serves only as a hub for reducing the grind by only spending aps for more skill points. Portrait stuff alone won't really motivate to spend points in the long run either.
You can still gain aps by winning the leaderboards (5/10/20), so this isn't restricted to only grind some achievements alone. Perfect to quickly invest in a-shop stuff throughout the chapters.

Not denying that, it did have major effects on their characters going forward and the long term consequences of this arc influenced the comics for years to come but it makes sense for why the arc lost its luster in modern times.

Especially important here because it is way too long to adapt for Null hypothesis but it will still apparently happen off screen so Null will have to deal with the fact his friends and lovers had to go through that while he was stuck on earth.

Outside of pulling it up quickly to check something, I've actually only played it once or twice since 0.8 came out. The save I made around then is still in Fall.:whistle:
