Okay. Last one, and then I'm going to sleep.
To be fair: If I were a rando looking for info, I wouldn't want to go though over 100 posts of other randos getting dunked on by regulars who are up to date on everything, but are a mix of bored, tired and frustrated by the same questions being asked seemingly over and over again.
We're kind of the baddies in this situation.
Spot on.
What the ten 'regulars' of this thread fail to realize is what a chore it can feel like to go thrugh ALLLL the off-topic shit, we got one guy posting pages of random comicbook cartoons, and then five others debating 'x-men lore' for 20 pages, just like the whole 'oh noes tattooos!' shit going on for PAGES ON END! We got some random nutter that only communicates via gifs/memes, and then the banter between the 'regulars', and to be fair, I find it funny, but I've been here since v.5 and love what the game is so far, so I'm biased, but it's also off-topic and goes on and on for pages..
So for some dude just seeing this game on 'latest updates', going to have a look.... I feel their pain. It's exhausting!
The FAQ that someone did a few days ago, NEEDS TO BE STICKIED on page one, it will help, but it will not completely eliminate the retarded questions from the ones that refuses to read, but it will cut down on a lot of it. And I get it, when you have 18 hours a day to spend on this thread, you know it all, and get annoyed when the same stupid question keeps poppin up again and again.. #why don't they just read the thread?" Well, your off-topic cartoon/random gifs/banter, made me be 4 pages back after only 8 hours offline, AND I CHECK IN EVERY DAY! It's literally too much.
And the ten comicbook nerds needs to realize that most people here, only knows Marvel from Endgame, or maybe they know x-men from the 'new' x-men movie, you know, the one with Jennifer Lawence.. THAT'S IT! They come here for news about the game, not "Oh but you know, in 'Marvel issue nr#34 from 1965, Jean said: #%¤&/&"..
I'm a comicbook nerd myself, raised on 'Bernard Prince', 'Red Kelly', 'Tintin', 'Blueberry', '
Les passagers du vent', 'Prince Valiant', 'Tarzan', among others. I'll add a few pics just to prove I'm not just name dropping shit.
The first time I ever heard of 'x-men' was when a friend of mine made me watch the 'first' x-men movie, the one from 1999? with Famke Janssen as Jean.... On VHS.
Rant over, I know I'm gonna get shit on for this, but so be it.
