Working from home so only took a quick glance at the code for a break but it looks like Attendance only affects XP. Doesn't appear to do anything to love or Trust.

When are you trying to use it? I can access these things the moment they're made available.

This seems like an oversight. I'll talk to the devs about it.

Wouldn't the absence of the sweaty debuff be informative? Regardless, I'll bring up the idea of a "Clean" status. There's a difference between being informative and dumbing down, this suggestion is being informative.

Likely another oversight.

A general reminder that we're in active development and some things are unfinished simply due to the nature of how games are made.

Despite the glitz and glamour, I wouldn't even consider our game complete enough to be Steam Greenlight worthy. That's the entire purpose of versions 0.8, 0.9, and 1.0 being feature additions rather than plot continuations.

You misunderstood me. Yes, these things can be accessed as soon as the phone is available. What I wrote is that if you turn your phone off, you can't access them anymore, as expected with the phone turned off. I simply brought this to show an expected effect, to be contrasted with the unexpected/unexplained effect that the phone keeps buzzing even when turned off

And yes, I realize that the game is in active development; I was merely pointing out some areas that I find lacking, not because they're badly done, but likely because they've escaped the devs' attention so far

It's why I put a general reminder.

If something is a bug or appears to be an oversight I'll mention it, as I did in my initial response, but a lot of people tend to expect the game to be more feature complete than it actually is.

I was just taking the opportunity to remind everyone who may have been looking through the comments.

I apologize if I phrased it in a targeting manner.

But, seriously, I apologize if my remarks sounded like some attack or blunt criticism. It wasn't my intention: I view this thread as a chance to help shape the best game possible in some future build, nothing more, but English is not my main language, and therefore sometimes I lack subtlety and synonyms in my comments.

P.S. Enjoyed reading your recommendations of Fan Games for Fans

Thank you for responding. I assumed that some things would change in the new version but it only seems to affect Laura. In this case I'm confused by her achieving a maxed out Love & Trust score of 1000 and yet somehow she was not a "friend"? As I mentioned I don't have an option of asking her for a date, nor is there an option to ask her to just go to the mall. She does sleep with me after studying or movie nights. Does the pool, movie night, or studying help improve the "friend" part? I had the "Cap stats" off so is it better to turn it on? Sorry for all of the questions but I'm trying to understand where I went wrong or if there's a glitch somewhere.

Yes. Originally (probably a month ago) I texted her for a date but she didn't give me a time and place. So I went to the morning class which is what I do every class day. Laura was there after the 1st class but there wasn't a way to trigger the date from there. This time I stayed for the second class and that triggered the date for the evening.
