When are you trying to use it? I can access these things the moment they're made available.1) That phone. In the game's inventory, you can turn it off. Fine, works as advertised: can't send messages, can't access Achievement lists, can't read the funny Daily Bungle news snippets – in a word, can't use your phone.
This seems like an oversight. I'll talk to the devs about it.BUT: the girls can text you willy-nilly and that phone keeps buzzing and buzzing even when all you want to do is swim and sunbathe and turn on the microwave in peace. What's the point of turning the phone off if it keeps buzzing?
Wouldn't the absence of the sweaty debuff be informative? Regardless, I'll bring up the idea of a "Clean" status. There's a difference between being informative and dumbing down, this suggestion is being informative.2) Sometimes, you quit the game, for example when you want to sleep IRL, and then you launch it again later on.
You get to where you were, when you were there. But if you have the perk that gives you a free shower in the morning and at night, the perk that gives you an additional action in the morning and the perk that gives you an additional action at night, there's no visual indication – you've just relaunched the game, after some hours/days away from it, you see it's morning, or night, but you can't remember: Did I quit before or after Null's shower? Do I still have 2 morning (or night) actions to do, or only one?
Some indicator would be nice, me'thinks. (Yeah, yeah, sure, just quit the game in the afternoon or evening, when none of these perks are in effect. Like I said, minor gripe)
This is likely an oversight. I'll mention it to the devs.3) Flirting. Very early, when the girls are not yet your friends, you can pay them some compliments, some with Love gains, some that they don't like and that make you lose Love points. Good. You can also use Dirty Talk to them, which they rebuff (but which they will learn to like later on, when you date them and mess around with them). And yet, those "crude" comments have no effect on Love points? Surely, that will be adjusted in future builds...
Likely another oversight. And a question: In the Tutorials part of the Database, we read that the "high class attendance" status condition increases Love, Trust and XP gains (see screenshot).
Increases XP gains, sure, I've seen that. But I have not noticed any difference for Love and Trust gains. Is there really a boon there? (some people who like looking at code might have an answer there)
A general reminder that we're in active development and some things are unfinished simply due to the nature of how games are made.
Despite the glitz and glamour, I wouldn't even consider our game complete enough to be Steam Greenlight worthy. That's the entire purpose of versions 0.8, 0.9, and 1.0 being feature additions rather than plot continuations.
