I think a better way of thinking about it is not how extreme, but by how the approach is. You can still have kinkier things with a smart approach instead of "you mind fuck them".

It just seems like flowing naturally from you hands. But if I should give any inspirational advice, then a simple, one pic answer, to anyone asking about why 'girl1' got mad at you after you boned 'Girl2' without telling 'Girl1' first, AFTER you made girlfriends with 'girl1'...
Now, reading back, I realize it's a bad idea, because even if you could pull it off, your '4k-original' pic, would be posted so many times, it would be reduced to 180p youtube quality before the end of the month.
I should have added a screen shot of 'Angry' Jean / Rogue, but I don't have any, it seems like reading what the game tells you is enough to avoid that even happening.

You have a point. Though, with the current resources available to the team, I personally think the writers would probably be better served by more in depth interactions/mechanics with the existing quirks for sex or otherwise rather than them possibly catering to many more fetishes in a more superficial way.
In the end, we should just let the team keeping cooking and see what they come up with since headpats and maybe even the most taboo fetish (hand-holding) of them all is coming soon™ in v0.9.

And thankfully the team fixed it relatively quickly and every instance afterward has been due to user error.
No, it's not sad, none of the three chapter 1 girls, gave me any 'I just wanna be an ass to them' vibes, it's just been a nice, good experience so far. But I NEED some headpats! Soon!
Edit to add: Any typos I blame on my new keyboard, and the 'Need headpats soon' is NOt to be considered as an "when next update!" ask... Would not risk re-setting the countdown clock.

We've unanimously decided that cheating during that era didn't count since the feature was bugged: We'd get approval from girl A about dating girl B but one of the two would get mad about girl C despite not interacting with girl C outside of story progression because the code was borked.
Boots' analogy about him cheating on Chie only apply to those who cheated after the bug was fixed, thus why I started posting that cursed 97' pairing because the fault shifted from Ron making a goof to a mix of the end user's lust and illiteracy. ...and people like pepplez who just like to watch the world burn for science.
There's a difference between being more common and being normal.
The game takes place two decades before modern day so things are still in progress.
I was initially going to expand but changed my mind. I forgot to remove it.
The thing is that people can be really fucking kinky in real life in a healthy manner.
We will explore kinks in a way that makes sense for the characters. We will also be doing it in an as realistic and proper portrayal as possible.
If people want to make all of the X-Gals their submissive harem, they should play Rogue Like.*
If people want to be violent and abusive, there are plenty other games of that nature on this website.
We occasionally get people who just like the art and demand we cater to their preferences. Some without actually playing the game. A recent review got pissy about the girls having pubic hair, ignoring the fact that you can turn the feature off entirely.
*This isn't an attack on Rogue Like. We promote the opportunity of choice when it comes to people's choice in games.
I mean he'd be the one she genuinely couldn't project to.
It's amusing because Null's existence means that she can't have a pajama day without being found out lol
Aaahh... How good it is to read this with a clean conscience, knowing I never made this mistake since my first playthrough.
It's impressive how reading the dialogues help you not fuck up.
That doesn't mean that line of thought isn't what's going on in her head if you actually do cheat on her.
Until the writing team says otherwise, you can consider that the canon thought process behind her behavior.

Much like how the Sith await a prospective career from a pupil or a new planet conquest, I await the Emma-Null dynamic, Jean-Emma dynamic, or just the Emma dynamic in-game in general, with great interest.
