It's not like that. I have relatively few comments, try not to ask stupid questions and don't appreciate those who are either condescending, or make assumptions and/or generalizations though I'm sure I unintentionally will do the same of course since we are human. I was asking for help. I'm not a gooner and I don't even know what that is in the lingo but it sounds incredibly insulting and unnecessary to say to someone on this site.

I played this game the first time through from a much earlier version onto further updates and didn't have to deal with to this degree with needing the women to all get a certain friendship level I can't see. My saves didn't work any longer so I had to completely restart which has not been fun. Now I just don't want to do something where if I make a choice Rogue is going to like lose 500 hearts and trust or something for me daring to try and advance the sexual stuff with a third character I had already previously unlocked all of that for.

So again thanks to the help above, Null Void Abyss for the suggestion.

Faceless is not refering to you specifically, just to lots of people that come around and bitch because the girls get angry and they cant progress and get stuck in a loop by cheating.

I remember Prof X was "in love" with Jean (but never declared) in the end of the 60s run.

Eh, that only came up once in a sigle issue very early on and never again touched again, i think they were just throwing it around without thinking too much to see if it worked as a plot hook and was abandoned.

It looks like Stan Lee didn't really knew what to do with the X-Men and was just throwing random shit at the wall to see what sticks; with this instance being a random "I like this girl but I am handicapped, woe is me" thing.

Clairemont had Charles bring it up once more later to Moira since he could confide in her.

Pretty much explained as attraction getting the better of Charles briefly. Pretty realistic since Jean is seen as super hot by Marvel character standards in-universe. She even became a model for a short bit.

Fair enough, I added my response as a spoiler.

That said, I do think there's a difference between when someone faces consequences due to making bad decisions and between someone who clearly anticipates consequences and is asking a purely mechanical questions about effectively grinding to avoid it.

I mean, I'm not a dev. You didn't have to if you didn't want to. My thinly veiled ulterior motivation is to want more people to fail the harem, because seeing them complaining about it and being denied from busting a nut until they figure out the "puzzle" is amusing to me. And I've been chomping at the bit to haze someone new since it's been several months since I threw dirt in everyone's eyes because one rando cheated on Rogue.

That, and: someone on the dev team reeeeally likes their degree in psychology, and would most likely have a much appreciation for more people saw the alternate dialogue and getting an emotional response from it as much as he hates to popular science meaning of "gaslighting".

Gotcha, thank you for the clarification, then I apologize for my reaction. I got a bit riled up from that and some subsequent posts on here I interpreted as 'laughing at new people' I tried not to take personally, since (I hope) again it seemed like it was more ruminating on the past and people wanting to cheat on the game which I'm not asking to do. I've actually been on the forums for quite awhile, though not a paying member. I work all day and am busy thus don't post a ton of comments and have few total compared to many, but have always been very appreciative of the community.

I haven't actually played this one in awhile though been moving my saves over to each new update, so I noted on the front page the "Old saves won't work" or something to that effect with the current version and said some f-words. Saves didn't work, so began from the start. I had previously had all three gals fully completed and was waiting from update to update (which is where I think I fell off for awhile, since they weren't coming out with much new major content updates, more like clothing ones or sexual positions for the original three).

I don't know if there's even still just the original three or if as the emails I received from the patreon account teased over the months there may be more gals now available after awhile in-game. Originally I think I got as far as Storm getting brainwashed at evil guy's lair and then fighting the hormones, but nothing explicit if I recall, so not a spoiler.

I don't recall needing to have Anne Marie be okay with Jean, but maybe she did - it's been long enough. If that's an organic part of the game and a spoiler, where ya go on a first date and she gets pissy, then okay, all I was wondering. I'm still at that point, and I just don't want to either keep playing through the game while missing a third gal, or doing that first date, having Rogue get pissy, then not have her suddenly be okay with Jean. I've tried both ways and gotten far enough (the first date then waiting, or playing through the game into Spring).
