This is a good reason for why we won't be doing it until Chapter 6. Even after Krakoa, not everyone was brought back.
Boots promised an uncensored mutant massacre and i will hold him to that, thats THE coming of age story for the X-men.

Australian phase was one of my favorites of all time.
We held a poll and a surprisingly large amount of people said they were cool with being ripped from the mansion sandbox to be in Australia for a few seasons or a chapter.
It's funny because I think throwing them into a time wormhole as a solution if they ever did get pregnant would just play into the humor of just how chaotic comic books can be.

I'd say everyone thinking too much about the details. A simple Turn ON/Turn OFF switch for visuals without any impact on the narrative, and that's it. Just cosmetic effect without need to build a whole "building a family etc" part of the game.
A simple visual toggle would be incredibly boring.

So I just feel that shame mechanic is useless in general (especially as it adds "hard cap", if I understood correctly some of the comments in here)
The thing is that the shame system is still in development. If it feels incomplete, that's because it is.
Before anyone asks "Why do you have an incomplete feature?" It's future proofing. Building on it incrementally is safer than dropping an entire complex system in one update.
As it won't be used for anything (for example, exhibitionism quirk development).
No member of the dev team has made this claim. Please do not take community discussion as confirmation of production direction.
As I have been quoted in this discussion before I will take the time to say that yes, the shame mechanic will be used for exhibitionism. Though not in the way that Oni did it.
I think, me being unable to stop comparing two games (this one and it's inspiration) does not allow me to fully enjoy this one.
If your enjoyment of this game is dependent on its shared history of Rogue Like Evolution then I unfortunately have to inform you that this game is not for you.
I've said this more than once. We were inspired by Oni's work, but in the loosest of terms. We do not wish to make RLE 2 or RLE with a narrative. Just because RLE does something that doesn't mean we are going to jump to add it into the game.
Oni has added more story but that's mostly justification as to why a character is in the game. That's not me throwing shade, that's just reality. If you want a sandbox where you can have wild porn parody sex adventures then play RLE.
If you want a relationship simulator with some lifesim elements set within the X-Men universe then this is the game for you.
Our game does contain porn. There is sex. Plenty of it. A variety of it. We just approach sex in a realistic manner. You will be able to dick down girls in a mating press causing them to become cock drunk sweaty messes with makeup smearing... Just not within the first 5 minutes of meeting them.
