To this day, I hate secret wars for forcing them to break them up.

Also, will Kurt get his ? Amanda gifts him one after getting a Bamf doll from Kurt.

Sidenote: Kurt needs to market his Bamf dolls; he could make some serious cash from that.
That is adorable and I now demand we be able to gift these to max love and trust LIs. I wanna find it on their beds. I want Rogue to akwardly try to explain why it's got black mascara and spiked bands on. I want to hear Jean be weird with her "littlest bro" from outside her room. I want to catch Laura playing with it/herself while snorting it's scent like crack cocaine.

If Kurt's room becomes a thing I'm gonna advocate for its implementation.

Nullification appears to be specifically
Currently only targets the X-Gene.

I will point out that the way Null works is that he shuts down the X-Gene. He doesn't turn off powers, he turns mutants human.

What this means for the greater narrative is up for you guys to theorize.

A mutant without a weak point is beyond ridiculous.
like getting his head popped, would do the same thing for Null.
Null can be killed by a bullet to the head. Not even a special bullet. It's like Harry Potter. Pull out a gun and blam he's dead.

Any plans to add sending and receiving nudes?
Yes. There's also plans for telepaths to "flash" you with mental projections.

Gonna guess that at some point some mad scientist or gov/military organization is going to try to experiment with Null to make some sort of "mutant cure"

It's been a while since it's been talked about, but yeah people overestimate Null because he matches up well against strong exotic powered people or primarily melee fighters.
But he is easily beaten by more conventional things. Or people that can keep him at range.

If he got close enough he could pose a challenge to the likes of even Magneto if the situation is right, but he would get wrecked by even Frank Castle or Nick Fury.

Mutants like Storm, Magneto, Dazzler, Gambit etc would just try to keep Null at a distance and boom, he's countered.

Even melee fighters like Captain America could just tank the drain aura and sucker punch Null's head off. He's effective against untrained crowds of normal humans thanks to the aura, but against trained squads or anyone with a gun, he's fucked.

Now, to be fair, that's the case for a good chunk of the X-Men, which doesn't make Null that special. Honestly, he's just above Kurt in terms of durability if he has the drain aura up, which has major drawbacks in group fights, but Kurt has him beat in combat effectiveness just because of how bullshit Nightcrawler's abilities are.

I wonder if that'll be considered when the combat system is implemented.

A reminder that Null also has enhanced strength and durability. Even without the draining. This was demonstrated briefly during training with Laura and morning runs with Rogue.

Though yes, as it stands now, Null is very untrained in combat so if somebody powered like Cap defeats him quickly before the drain becomes too much, they have a decent shot.

I know, but it seems to be on the low tier in terms of boosting, at least compared to actual superhumans like Captain America. I'd put him at between athlete and peak human on the .

Laura and Wolverine seem to got him beat on the strength and agility component, while Kurt can run circles around Null even without the bamf.

Null's just above the squishier members of the X-Men, which is a fine niche to be in, as he'd naturally stay back and defend them compared to the heavier hitters who face the worst of the fighting and are often isolated from the team during a fight.

Admittedly, still not very helpful versus guns or sentinels, though. He'd need something more or develop a power that can help, like a ranged blast or a support power like heal beams or something.

Maybe Beast can invent something to help, or they can get Null a ranged weapon that can incapacitate people from a distance, like a quick hardening foam launcher or something (too early in the timeline to ask Spider-Man for the web formula to make web bullets).

And I've gone full min-maxer.

Not sure on this one. He got the enhanced physical abilities bundled with the regen, so I assume they are about as strong as hers. I'd say at the moment it's a matter of a lack of comparable physical conditioning that sets them apart.
Null will get stronger and more skilled in time.

He still has room to grow. Maybe copying Dazzlers sound to light conversion for ranged or something.
I know what he wants the most is the ability to fly. I can see him being desperate trying to see if he can will himself to mimic Storm's power so he can.
Right now baby Null is done with his initial training and is about ready to be handheld through his first missions, so we'll see if he gets some hardware. Hard to get things geared around your powers when they keep evolving.

By the way, how do you think Clone Saga works out in this one since Gwen doesn't die in this universe? I guess Jackal jumps straight to doing the Peter clone.
And I've gone full min-maxer.
I too am an RPG power player. (y)

Hi everyone, is it just me, or has anyone else encountered this bug?
I restarted the game from version 0.8c and managed to unlock several new outfits and bikinis for the characters, as well as purchase everything available. The exclamation mark icon on the right side of the screen confirms that these items are unlocked.

However, whenever I try to open the menu or interact with the characters to give them these items, it always fails and an error pops up every time. Please let me know if there’s any way to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

Report that to the devs. It's trying to list an object that doesn't "exist". Probably doesn't help that you're on the open beta version. Prepare a save file too for them.

I just tried this now. Loaded a save made in 0.8c and bought items to give and was able to give clothing without issue.

In any case, If you don't mind going to discord and sending a save and a bug report post, it would be helpful to devs. They receive and check things quicker there.

Now, how the fuck his power works is a mystery to me since he just gets the power when he really wants it. Is it like Legion's? Is it like Apocalypse? Is he Legion or Apocalypse!? Or is he just a random mutant with X-gene energy manipulation and/or absorption that he can use to power different abilities? I have absolutely no idea, but I'm going with the mind-wiped and depowered Legion theory because I am drawing a complete blank otherwise, especially regarding why the Shadow King would be interested in him before Null manifested powers, because nothing else makes sense beyond Null being related to someone important.
That is adorable, I hope Boots manages to convince the team to put it in if Kurt's room becomes a thing.

I honestly really don't want for Null's identity to be revealed as Legion or a Super-Skrull with amnesia later on.

I'd much prefer for Null to just be someone who only exists within the Earth-69 Universe and its offshoots and nothing more; it's the multiverse after all.

I think gambit is just below daredevil and iron fist in marvels ranking of best fighters or something like that, so I think he'd be OK without powers.
