You're looking at it from the wrong perspective, you were expecting something, it wasn't that but you're still judging it by those standards. She is a slut, yes, and getting a point for dropping your panties 1 second later doesn't make sense however just like you correctly pointed out, it's a game with decent writing and great visuals and that's all it promised to be.

It's not a corruption very choice influenced game so if that's not your cup of tea it's absolutely fine but that doesn't make it a bad game.

If you want a corruption, heavy choice influenced game that literally branches into many paths depending on what you choose try Fleeting Iris. This game is beautiful for what it is, it's just not that. Don't judge a fish for its ability to climb trees.

I do realize that i came off a bit aggressive and negativ in my post and i apologize for that. I tend to rent about things that dissappoint me without taking a step back and considering the work that the Dev put into this.
So im sorry for that.

But, i disagree with your comparison. Im not judging a fish for his ability to climb a tree. I compare apples with oranges. And i think its fine to compare two fruits with one another.
Because this game still claims to be a Visual Novel with a corruption focus and a choice based system.
And from that perspective it fails my standards.
The MC does not act according to her own thoughts and the choices make either no sense (point for cheating) or lead to a stupid outcome (lesbian scene with Ava in the gym, i wanted to to console her and it leads to sex immediately).

But of course that doesnt mean that other players might no enjoy this for what it is. But i just dont.

Choices that could affect your happily ever after with your prince charming, if even one at all will exist. But that's just me, I know that there are some games out there that touch upon this ethos, though not enough in my opinion. In the end some people just come for the smut or they actually like this strange NTRish kink and that's fine too. There's plenty of games out there to enjoy nonetheless.

Indeed, though I would rather use the word variety. Preference plays a part in all things we do no doubt, but on average I do think we have more in common in what we seek than not. Most people don't know this, but back in 90s, as games, visual novels in Japan became partly popular not just because of style, story or technology, but because of the illusion of choice. One of the pillars of all game types being choice, and of life as a whole.
Although that still remains true today in many games, we also now have actual choices with branching probabilities and consequences rather than ones that fool you into believing an outcome. The opportunity to decide your fate as an individual within the confines of rules in a game is an appealing factor to any potential gamer.
What we have now is a growing renaissance of these aspects, funnily enough, on porno games. Specially with so many indie developers unabashedly pioneering it. And I think that's partly due to the growing amount of censorship, thus as a consequence we should be very grateful for what we have now. Not only that, but expand and explore upon it.
Myself I've started working on my own game for about a year now, which I hope to share when the time comes.
We'll see what happens this year.
