Just read last pages and lmao at reading Gail is more basic or less "justifiable" than her boyfriend or the posters here, really needed that laugh lol. As for understanding Gail. I understand her just fine. I understand that her character development is very lacking. I understand that there's little to no consistency to her personality and she's just a plot device to move the so-called plot forward. I understand that this game is completely plot-driven and not character-driven. This is why the secondary characters are shallow with no real personality themselves. As they are only there be placeholders and anyone could use their dialogue. And it makes Gail out to be a walking sex toy. I think I understand this quite well.

Also without knowing what Gail looks for in a partner you can't say she would or wouldn't date someone. Based on what is given about her current boyfriend. Her standards are extremely low. So it seems mostly anyone could date her.

Oh i do on forums related to books, movies, games, etc. of that type. poorly written characters are one of my pet peeves, because their a huge part of what make the worlds engaging, and authentic. Nonetheless my main issue with Female MC games is simply that the MCs are written badly, when that's the one character who should be written well.

I'm gonna do another few runs, hopefully were both wrong and there's much more to Gail than we have seen.

I hear ya. It's weird that not many devs put the time in to make their dialogue good. I don't understand why this is so hard. They have 2 jobs. make the renders good so people have something nice to look at and have the dialogue written well so it keeps them engaged and clicking. It's not like they are creating a youtube video or anything.

Let me develop the narrative since some others here do not develop anything. Gail was portrayed as a conservative, sensitive gal before game starts, thats how X boyfriend scores with her. X boyfriend beind shit is what she realizes till after she becomes "basic", because honestly, he is like most people who think theyll pop up on some great game or YT or whatever, he is neither as good a peep as he thinks he is nor does he seem to have potential to be succesful, she was blinded by her "good girl" goggles". Now this in itself should not be anything special, but people to miss all this point: games all about Gail aiming higher, using her assets to do whatever she wants, whether it be for gain or simply manipulation and fun. No, Gail would not suddently grab a random unsuccesful dweeb on a porn forum unless its to make temporary fun of him if at best. You are not becoming the next little D if she teases you once, her standards have not been "inconsistent" enough to suggest that, theres a big difference between A and Z. Now this is not to pretend she is bet developed character ever, but evidently some wanna believe anything they wanna think of is something shed do lol.

Unren is a tool used to extract renpy game files so that you can unlock DEV mode - extract images - extract script files. It is found in the tools section of the site.

I haven't figured out a way to fix it either.

What is the problem your having with unren? Only 2 that I have seen is sometimes the unren files will not get made but I usually just grab copies of them from a different game and the other one is that .rpy files will not be extracted from .rpyc files if they're inside a folder inside of the game folder but you can just pull them out run unren and then put them back into the folder.
