Yet again, after so many updates, the gallery is still useless because dialogue will not stop auto-advancing. No damn button turns it off. No setting in preferences properly has any effect. Please look at your code for the gallery or how youve implemented Auto-mode because something is completely screwed up. I want to like this because I despise RPM but if Auto cannot be turned off it will remain garbage in my eyes.

P.S. This is literally the only RenPy game I have ever seen have this issue, and I have played hundreds. This is definitely a problem with your code.

Replays work exactly the same as normal dialog for me. Does any other text in-game auto-advance? One change I've made is that the mouse scroll advances text (normally it is "roll forward")

Auto-advancing, yes. As in Automatically advancing to the next line of dialogue. Ive tried everything I can to make it stop. I want the scenes to be click-to-advance. I hate automatic dialogue. Clicking Auto to turn blue, still auto. Click it to turn gray, still auto. Its like the options in this game are just for show.

I managed to get it to stop once, many versions ago, but not since then. Every time I check and its still automatically advancing the dialogue without my input and will not turn off. This is the only game that does this, and for this install I literally installed it on an entirely different drive from the previous.

Ive also noticed that no matter how many times I turn off "skip unseen text" in the preferences menu it will just turn itself back on again the next time I open preferences.

Im not asking for help. Im reporting a problem and letting the maker know my opinion of the current state of the product. If Auto cannot be turned off then my opinion is that this is a trash product. There is a flaw. I am reporting said flaw that makes this product unusable for my needs. And it will remain garbage until the flaw is rectified. One RenPy game out of hundreds has this flaw, which makes it a clear indicator that the flaw is the game, not the device.

I am doing so in comments so that I don't wreck the ratings in reviews. Right now, the current state is 1 star, but only because 0 is not allowed.

I never played the original (don't have the patience for RPGM) so forgive me if this is an obvious question: Is this strictly a kinetic novel of the "find-the-event-trigger-to-proceed" variety, or do we actually get to make meaningful choices, affect the plot/content, guide the protagonist, etc.?

Played through a good-ish bit, but had the MC refuse to get involved in Marcus and Nate's nonsense. Slutting it up for her own enjoyment is one thing, but they're both pricks, fuck them.

The game carried on as if the MC had done as she was told though, which didn't make much sense.

I guess the game isn't really supposed to have a choice there at all? I didn't get a choice in her flashing the boss in order to help Nate a bit earlier (I might have chosen to do it if she just felt like it, but not to help that wanker).

And yet I do contribute to Patreons that have a complete product that works. I use this site as a demo site as I find the Patreon model itself to be asinine. Once this product is complete and is in a working order I will contribute what I deem its valuation to be with a one-shot donation. If, as so many "demos" Ive found here, this gets abandoned then it will not get anything. I do not pay for unfinished products (hence why I havent purchased Monster Hunter Wilds yet). I'll even contribute to the original creator if this gets a finished working product.

Which is the business model for Most of the world. Not saying that devs don't deserve support but for every Zorlun or Rusty V, there's an L&P or ICSTOR. I certainly understand your sentiment.

Dont give a f about the gallery personally, but in normal play i did notice some scenes where text was auto-advancing; it's typically with series of animated scenes, which auto-advance (both scenes and text). Scenes at the Metro in later game stages comes to mind, and yeah, the auto-advancing part was pretty annoying tbh. QUITE sure it has nothing to do with the redux though, it's a "feature" from the original game most likely, so any whining should be directed there.

BTW i also realised now the screen shaking toggle has actually no effect on the subway scenes as they are all animated scenes. But they are pretty nice actually, with all the boob jiggle effects etc., so in the end it's quite awesome tbh, as is the whole game, and last but not least, the well done redux

If you've broken out, you cannot return, but you can roll back to VN mode. If you've gone a way forward, quit to the menu, pick a day close to where you were and play on from there.

Stuck on the part in the VN where she goes out in her trenchcoat to get aroused. When I click on the 6 pictures nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
