Damn.. A FMC corruption game with great graphics, fantastic innocent faithful wife, great Magic induced corruption, tonnes of content, interesting plot and advancement - what could be wrong with that?

Played both the RPGM and Renpy versions, this review is not about what system is better.

My 3 star reasons are in a spoiler cause it is about the plot and characters.

I normally love FMC games - love a good corruption game especially when we have an outside magical influence that explains the bad behavior instead of the usual bored housewife with an inadequate hubby.

I so wanted to rate this higher, support the Dev and encourage more development, but that unavoidable path killed it. Average game, if you like sharing, BBC give it a go.

I played this a couple of years ago, but eventually lost interest. The game starts out interesting, before being bogged down by the cumbersome gameplay of the RPGM engine. There's absolutely no reason why this game couldn't have been made on Ren'Py.
In terms of the story, it's pretty cliched - the only difference is that the wife's descent is initiated by a magical necklace instead of marital boredom. The issue is that things escalate so quickly, with every single character she encounters, that it becomes laughable.
You've got your sad-sack cuck of a husband, the lecherous "best" friend, the powerful boss, a seemingly endless array of hobos, and of course, the BBC element that's so prevalent in this genre. If you're looking for a quick fap, there are other VNs you could spend your time on.

Very good game but i think, some scences are not conclusive ( the cam-girl scene with the viever, why sit on the bed ? ) The MC is a sexy hot young wife but to powerless imao, because one touch and her desire grow too fast so no chance for her to fight against harasser in the company ( but i like the scene in toilet and the revenge with the rats ;-) and i think Stacy like it very much ;-) )and ideas) I like the game and the story, so much scenes and ideas, in the restaurant in restroom very hot scenes and i think, not all her desires are push bye the amulett, or ? The artwork is good, the text too. I have a lot of fun bye play this rpgnv game.

One of the best adult game of the F95zone, good graphic and interesting story. The content is huge, high playability. Long play time. Have to see where the story ends. Really good work. Waiting for future updates.

A classic of the cuckold game genre. The story is interesting, the renders are really well made and it's a joy to play. And the game is already really - massive. Thank you for your work and I can't wait for it to be finished!

I just played this for the first time on version 0.90 and kept playing until I got all the way caught up. I really enjoyed this game and the way the it slowly layers its corruption. If a lusty main character slowly convinced into skimpier, sexier outfits and further corruption are your cup of tea, this game might be up your alley.

Warning: this is a visual novel. As such, some aspects get clunky and you'll need to check the hints in the menu or the hints in the gallery (mirror in the bedroom) in order to avoid a lot of grind. If you're averse to RPGM VNs, grab the RenPy version, which (while clunky) avoids that RPGM grind.

Most of the "branching paths" in this are just choice of kink rather than a change in the story, so keep in mind that it's *mostly* a novel.

The story is fun and well-ordered, keeping you interested in spite of the grind. The actions taken by the main character are always story-driven and fit the characters and overall narrative. This is clearly made by a storywriter.

This is easily one of my new favorite games, and I'm now stuck waiting for each new version to drop. I can't wait for more content.

    Wishlist for the game:
    • I do think that some of the character interactions had more steps and variations. There were points where I felt like, "why isn't there a slight next step here". Often some larger event trigger had to happen before a character interatcion changed. Might also avoid some of the grind if there were 2-3 slight variations of an encounter with a character, not requiring a new scene, but just changing a few images and some dialog.
    • Game could use a "skip the train" option or some other type of fast-travel. I was often saving to check a scene or two for changes and I'd reload to avoid a repeat train trip.

Amazing game that hits a lot of kinks just right. If you love incredibly sexy outfits on your protagonist you will love this game. If you love the corruption path you will love this game, if you hate corruption then this is not the VN for you and you should move on. This is NOT a Game this is a VN, the choices you make basically turn on or off certain kinks that become available. If your looking for a game or a VN where all your choices have 3 different paths this is not for you.

The Story is intriguing and keeps you interested in it's progression, the motivations and actions of the MC are story driven and have a reason behind why she acts the way she acts.

This game hits all of my boxes on my wish list, in a VN and I truly love it. It isn't for everyone but I think most people will love the office wife.

If you can please support on Patreon, the Dev is turning out high quality content and is deserving of support.

No choices, extremely dumb dialogues, even worse plot.

It should be visual novel without the idiotic unnecessary clicking.

The only man who shows signs of common sense in this whole "game" is presented as the main antagonist.

Despite good graphics and a huge amount of work, which I appreciate, my rating is 1. No choices.

Slow burn corruption story that is actually very well told,
mixing in more elements when needed.
Did run into a bug with two simultaneous storylines going on at once,
the police station and photoshoot at same time, could not continue with no Jason at home.
Wish there was a fast skip, like CTRL

    Amazing game.
All I wanted was a game where the female protagonist was open to corruption with additional bestiality scenes.
I found all in this game and I am ready for more...

The female protagonist looks fantastic, I hate big boobs and hers is not absurdly big as in many games here.
Supportive husband/boyfriend (which can be more into, even after giving the potion)

Btw, I am playing "Unofficial Ren'Py Redux", not a fan of RPGM games.

I've got stuck at game breaking bugs 3 times. I've had massive pains installing on Mac. When jumping forward with pre-configured saves, I've missed scenes and had trouble getting to some vital triggers. The grind is interminable. The gallery is incomplete. RPGM sucks.

Yet I'm still giving The Office Wife 5 damn stars because the goddamn scenarios are just too hot.

extremely repetitive. the art is pretty good, but it is too repetitive to enjoy. game makes you do the same thing every single day and once in awhile there is nudity or sex. I tried pushing through the boredom but after 4 hours of spam clicking through pointless dialogue I am over it. could even qualify for one star with how repetitive and boring this game is but I chose 2 star since the art is decent.

    DO NOT RECCOMEND

I was very surprised when found this gem of a game, extremely underrated. Its confusing and repetitive sometimes (RPG maker), but if you can handle this, thats all, just enjoy the best corruption game out there.

A good premise, decent renders and animations, sort of engaging plot and lots of content is all flushed down the drain by being mind numbingly tedious and boring to play.
RPGM has never worked well for a narrative driven game like this one and the result is constant repetition of the same events over and over and over until you hit that one thing needed to progress. Made even worse by the inherent slowness of the RPGM engine, hours will be spent just waiting for map events to finish or doing the same basic routine of dress up -> take train to work -> work -> take train home.
A case study how a bad engine choice can tank a good thing

I really would have loved to give this game the 5 stars, and if it wasn't for the bugs and the janky walkthrough I would have. Unfortunately I only reached enchantment level 59 until I reached a gamebreaking bug which doesnt let me trigger any new scenes and also game crashes quite often (maybe that's also because I hold the left mousebutton a lot to skip the often repetitive and boring dialogs). Judging from the walkthrough I know that my enchantment level should be higher for the progress in main story line but many of the named scenes never triggered. Also the walkthrough, especially in the early stages, is extremly janky. It could be a great game which has a great premise. Even the rpg isnt a deal breaker (although the start is a horrible grindfest until it takes up some speed) but unfortunately dev doesn't seem to have a systematic approach on how to program a game. I probably didn't do some scenes in the exact right order which is why some scenes didn't trigger and now all my "mid/late game" saves are a complete mess.

The pluses: well written and some good graphics. The story itself opens interesting scenarios. Stacey is VERY sexy.

The BIG minus: Unfortunately, it's an almost unplayable grind. Why on earth do developers use RPGM for fap games?????

Played this game a while back and it was disappointing how great it could be.. The game is super grindy and I got to a point where i just kept seeing the same scenes/events over and over with no idea or way to progress. The game is very very grindy and does not really help you out with what to do next. It also as i mentioned just repeats content over and over without telling you anything. The content that you do get is excellent which makes it sad that its so hard to get more of it.

    Review of v0.83 bugfix 1
I'm not a huge fan of RPGM because I don't see the point and chibi sprites interwoven with high quality CGs feels odd to me, breaking any immersion or suspension of disbelief that I need to enjoy a porn game, or any game in the last 20 years for that matter. I was okay with flat 2d sprites when 8 or 16-bit graphics were what the hardware saddled us with, but we've been able to do better for almost 30 years now.
I saw that there's an unofficial Renpy port of the game up to version 0.70 that's been on hold for well over a year as of the time of writing this review. I chose the developer's version, because I've been burned by other Renpy ports that removed the sprites but still reused the original RPGM map overlayed with Renpy buttons for... reasons? I also thought the extra content in this version would be worth braving RPGM, but I didn't even get very far into the v0.26 content.

I like the premise of a mysterious magical event/object as the inciting incident for a corruption story, instead the usual depravation ploy of cringey dudes with giant cocks. Unfortunately, I saw very little work done on the mystery plotline, but full disclosure: I walked away at corruption/"enchantment" level 19 after I was locked out of further progress, because the game let me do something in a different order than the dev apparently intended (Don't fill in for Simon in the warehouse until you get to level 19). I had tried to follow the dev's walkthrough, but it was inaccurate in a few minor ways even in the first few game days. However, it was incorrect at enchantment level 11, and different from the in-game hint, so my game got out of synch with the WT. To unlock myself, I would have had to replay 4 or 5 game days, and it wasn't worth it.
Which brings me to the ultimate problem with the game. The gameplay is very grindy. It isn't due to the game design necessarily calling for a grind. In fact, each level up is a unique event occurring after a different set of circumstances, which is good. Well, getting to the unique events and circumstances requires you to repeat many of the same events every day. You might see the same generic event 10 times before a change in that event is triggered, and the repeated event is usually identical to the first viewing. Even if you want repeatable events, it's not hard to flag an event as viewed and give a different more concise flavor of text consistent with the fact that it's the 2nd to 10th time the MC's husband has groped her in front of his buddy. Add the fact that skipping text isn't as easy or as fast in RPGM as Renpy, which would unquestionably be the better platform to run this game on, and I was ready to pull my hair out. For example, you are required watch one of two, albeit brief, shower scenes every game day in order just to go to work and try to trigger something new. The commute to the office, whether by train or by car, is essentially the same each day. There's just quite a lot of fluff that can be trimmed from the gameplay that would make it more enjoyable.
The CGs are really quite good, though not amazing by 2022 standards. The animations are lower resolution than I've become accustomed to lately, but they're still nice. The new content in the game might be to higher standards than the stuff in the early game, but I couldn't get to it.
If I get over the bad taste from getting locked out of progressing the game, I'll try the Renpy version.
Edit: I decided to replay in RPGM to see if I could progress the game. I got unstuck, but since then I've wandered into two other dead ends in the game. If you progress too far with one aspect of the story line, you get locked out of progressing another part, and consequently, any progress is impossible. Following the dev's walkthrough is the kiss of death for this game, but not following it is equally perilous. The only solution I've found is to follow the walkthrough until you find yourself locked, then review the walkthrough to figure out where it's wrong then delay progress on a part of the storyline so that you can keep moving forward. The only gameplay here is a metagame where you try to figure out what the dev wants you to do despite his WT and his game hints are lying to you 10% of the time.
