RPGM - The Office Wife [v0.93] [J. S. Deacon]

I've played this through until the planned video to get rid of Bruce fails but Stacy gets a new "job" at the company and would comment as below:
1. Stacy is 1 super hot girl.
2. Writing is good and is sometimes very sexy in general, however, too much rape which I hate to see in a game.
3. The worst decision is the engine in this game, which is for a role play game instead of a visual novel, which in effect this is. A Ren’Py novel would have been much better as most decisions are not required to progress the story. It would be better if the developer used Ren’Py gave the best choices as an option rather than simple options, e.g. to work with Polly or Jim; if either needs to be worked with to progress the story that should be indicated to avoid unnecessary days unless the player so chooses.
4. Not developing this as a visual novel is made worse because there is loads of repetitions each day which can’t be avoided and makes much of the gameplay redundant and time consuming e.g. taking a shower, dressing, drinking coffee and taking the subway and doing the same chores at work loads of times during the course of this game in order to trigger story advancements and new scenes…. At least there should be a skip option.
5. The game progresses using enhancements and sometimes these took me a while to find; more repeated days.
6. There is no realistic way to avoid some of the kinks that the player may not wish to see (e.g. spanking, having to lick her boss's shoes & I guess that will also apply to the dog). Also the game is advertised as, in essence, a corruption story but it includes rape (a hate of mine).
7. The boyfriend is a waste of space.
8. I know it’s a story but given how often the MC has unprotected sex while not using birth control how doesn’t she get pregnant?! Surely there should be a chance on each occasion with the option to proceed whilst remaining pregnant or terminating? At the very least that she needs to terminate or simply go on the pill to progress.
9. I can't seem to complete all the stuff in the later updates which is frustrating and I guess from some of the comments that the game contains various unresolved bugs which haven't been corrected as yet.
10. Having said the above I still like the game, probably because how hot Stacy is super hot and there's bonus of some extra scenes if you explore a bit (with the policeman and in the toilet outside Stacy's workplace at night), hence 3 stars.
Shame as I got frustrated with it at this point... Guess best to leave it for a bit and hope that the bugs mentioned in above posts are corrected.

I played a couple of corruption games made with rpgmaker before and this one is definitely one of the better ones. The graphics are awesome. The erotic content never ends once you're further into the game. The scenes are various and creative.

Why only 4 stars?

1. The game takes ages to play. You have to redo the same game cycle over and over again while hoping to do them in the right order to unlock new events. Also most new events incorporate prior events aswell. During my first play (until I got stuck at enchantment 52) I accidently left out talking to a stranger and never got to see a specific scene as a result.

2. It starts as corruption but ends up being more and more dark rape content.

3. The main story barely impacts the gameplay and the whole medallion thing could easily be removed from the story without having a huge impact. I think the medallion is basically giving her powers so the writer can excuse all the rape by saying: "She had the power to fight it but didn't." Also it makes no sense that she doesn't use her powers in many situations that are clearly uncomfortable for her.

4. Her boyfriend is a pathetic loser who doesn't do anything for her. Why would a girl like that have a loser like him around?

I dig this game but I don't recommend playing it unless you have loads of patience and time. The time consuming repetetiveness of it might brainwash you into becoming a perv in real life.

That being said I played the unofficial renpy version and thoroughly enjoy it.

Shame that it's a linier story with basically no choices but that's what makes it being RPGM even more pointless/confusing.
Will be playing any future releases that get a renpy version as a VN I'd give it a strong 7/10.

The office wife, usually isn’t my kind of kink, because playing a female protagonist as a straight male doesn’t work well for many reasons:

Men are men, women are women, you’ll never be able to truly “feel into”/walk in the shoes of the opposite sex. Women are different from men, not only biologically, but also in their thinking and feeling and most often also in their desires, no matter what modern day gender agenda / propaganda says. Even with a high level of empathy, there are boundaries of truly empathizing with the opposite sex.

Therefore usually male developers making female protagonist games end up making a game, where the initially innocent protagonist girl becomes the worst slut in town, who will open her legs for just anyone. Sure, it’s a game, an erotic fantasy, which especially satisfies the humiliation kink, but not very much realistic.

The office wife unfortunately is exactly that. The model of Stacy, the female protagonist, is stunning, a “trophy/dream wife/gf” most men would crave for in real life, if she was a real person. The dev included some magic/fantasy going on to make up for the lack of logic. Stacy seems to be possessed by an ancient fertility/love goddess Inanna, who turns her into a total slut. That’s the reason, why she will let just anybody fuck her during this game and even enjoy it and become more and more depraved. So far for the setting of this game. There is some tension curve, though.

Dialogues aren’t totally stupid, like in many other porn games, since the dev tries to make them look somewhat reasonable, but still it isn’t realistic at all. Her bf is a cuck, who enjoys her sexual exploits, raises some concerns here and there, but not very much convincing. The only truly attractive guy btw is Bruce, the nemesis of the female mc, she seems to hate and rather let just have anybody else have their way with her, no matter how disgusting they might be. All in all the story is rather bad in my opinion, because it really lacks realism and logic.

But one of the worst decisions is the engine in this game, which is rpgm, instead of renpy. Therefore the gameplay is super redundant and time consuming. Imagine getting up, taking a shower, dressing up, drinking your morning coffee and hitting the subway and doing your chores at work around 100 times during the course of this game in order to trigger story advancements and new scenes…. Therefore gameplay really sucks big time and would be so much more comfortable with a different game engine like renpy.

The only real positive aspect are the graphics, the female mc is a real “dream girl”, at least concerning her looks, not her personality; animations are also well done and the sex is kinky and hot usually, if humiliation is your thing. If not, you’ll just ask yourself constantly, why this super-hot mc girl would just get fucked in all holes by just anybody and still be craving for even more humiliation.

Usually I’d give 2 stars for this, especially because of the redundant & time consuming gameplay and the rather bad story, but the model of Stacy is really super-hot and animations are also really well done. All in all 3 stars.

The Office Wife (0.75 version) has some good and bad things. First off, the story actually has a reason for her turning the way she is and changing so drastically and is decently interesting, specially in some of the plot lines and characters. On the other hand, it has a lot of walking around, seeing the same scenes again and often not knowing well how to advance the story, which means a lot of time wasted and interest lost. It's also a slow burn at first, which united with that routine and lost feeling, makes a hard start of the game (I actually thought of leaving it). Writing is pretty decent for this kind of games, but there are almost no choices to make.

Graphically, renders are quite nice but animations are a bit sloppy, specially the first ones. Sound is meh, I actually played without it most of the game.

So, all in all, it does have a lot of hours of content, some interesting things, but also will probably make you lose a lot of time in repeating and lost wanderings.

Unless you're one of those diehard defenders of male protagonist tag, you'll find this game one of the hottest and most shameless on the site. Lots of fetishes and fap material along with not being scared from few rapes here and there, ofc our protag always somewhat give consent in the end so its all good right?

Would be a solid 5/5 if you could actually choose who to have sex with. I can stomach the ntr when playing the female character, what I can't stomach is the character being so cheap as to literally have sex with anyone without the ability to choose whether or not to.

Office Wife has great renders, intriguing story and some pretty hot situations.

The RPG aspect of the game does leave a lot to be desired. As others have said before, many of the choices have no weight as the story is linear. I would have liked to be able to explore and get into different situations or different scenes depending on progress but everything is very on rails.

Some of the characters are great while a few seem out of place or poorly written.

Otherwise, a very engaging story and super hot MC.

good game, And great handling of the plot driven mystery. Gives you a thirst for finging the truth urself. Graphics may seem kind of rough at first imo. But it gets better once you get use to it.
The only thing bothering is there is very little moving animation. Even that without no sound effect. Which can be a blessing in disguise as you can play this in break time and no one know theres a sex scene happing.
And i couldn't finish the game cause 0.72 version had png errors or may be it my mistake

This is the best game i ever played.
If you like corruption games this one is the perfect choice.
The corruption pacing is perfect, it is not super slow and never gets out of hand, the MC becomes a slut but she keeps the innocent aspect, i loved it.

I really like this game. I like games with a female protagonist. Stacy is a very beautiful woman. Rendering and animation are excellent. The story goes well, I like the idea of sharing with other men.

Really exciting game without too much of grinding. Well paced to keep it exciting and maintains an upward curve of entertainment.
Story line is pretty much linear if you want to proceed.
Hints/ quests need to be better but it's easy to play despite that.

1) Looks: In case of looks and animation(Could be so much more fluid) this game is not the most polished easily but the character of FMC looks great and the game would look so sick if the models are polished(Maybe try something like Anna Exciting Affection or Lily of the Valley?)(3.5 star)
2) Content: With each update thus far the content provided is satisfying.
3) Character Development: The development of the FMC is really good in this game. The change from a shy and modest woman to a bold and "fun-loving" woman was very well handled by the dev.(5star)
4) Story: Even with many scenes and side characters with their own story I love how it is easy to get almost all the content and the player will not get stuck in a mission or such(Except for that guy in that restaurant). The main story is really intriguing and holds the player's attention with mystery throughout the gameplay. (5star)
5) H-Scenes: The development of the each scene advances properly without looking too shabby and they are really hot.(5 star)
6) Gameplay: First of all it is in RPGM what do u expect? But the most tedious thing is the fact that the player has to grind a lot for getting ready or event passing a day.(3star)

Just discovered this game and played through it in the last few days. Really enjoyed it, well written, gorgeous MC, and a wide variety of kinks.

It starts out pretty rough though as others have pointed out. Tons of repetition with limited lewd content for the first several days. There is no need to make me watch the same dream or read the canned dialogue for getting dressed over and over and over again. I almost gave up at a couple points.

But once you get out of the early days the game comes into its own. I really like the husband and wife dynamic with the initiator of the NTR content changing back and forth as the game progresses. I also like that some of the NTR is permitted while some isn't. Makes the plot more believable and is a refreshing take on the frequently stale slut wife genre.

The cast of characters and subplots are also growing and developing nicely. The minor characters explore a variety of different fetishes, but at no point do they feel like afterthought side characters or simple conduits for a kink, they fully realized characters that exist within the world.

I am very excited for where this game will go. I CANNOT WAIT for the MC's new office role that was teased at the end of the update. The only thing keeping it from being a 5/5 is the early repetition and an overall slow pace of play. 5/5s for me usually get a couple complete playthroughs, and I don't see myself doing that unless the filler gets trimmed or a skip feature is implemented.

This is one of the best adult games out there and i dont usually give rpgm games a chance, but im so glad I did with this one. Every update the game gets better & juicier. He updates quickly & he even answers our questions daily & helps us out if we get stuck somewhere in the game. Only wish there were more devs like him. This game has everything you want: nympho wife who hotwifing & mostly tells her hubby of who shes been screwing, but hes also ok with sharing her anyway at work at bars/restaurants, practically anywhere they go. This game is great and keeps getting better, Last update was the best one yet & I cant wait for the next one.

Hottest game I've played all month! I could take it or leave it when it comes to NTR but it's really well done. I came for female protag and exhibitionism and was not disappointed. Cant wait for next update

I've played through all the way on the latest update and find so much lacking. It's kinda cool sometimes but has a lot of down time and I feel like I managed to get through relatively quickly without the walkthrough. Things that annoyed me:

1. Redundant use of rpgm. This linear a story would be better suited in renpy. As it is now the game suffers from a lot of down time getting to and from scenes.
2. Reused scenes over and over in a routine that doesnt go anywhere for a long time.
3. Boring without walkthrough/Hard to find new scenes
4. Story attempts to be shown in character corruption which does happen but since the characters themselves are so lackluster, this isn't a compelling
5. There is very little fun in the story. Very little excitement and I believe the repetitiveness and predictability of scenes is what makes it so forgettable.

There is probably a REALLY good game here, but it's stuck beneath the annoyance that is RPGM.

The art is fantastic, the script is pretty solid, and I was really looking forward to where the story was going to go. What I don't understand is that the Dev has done the same mistake all RPGM devs do when they make a game that doesn't actually involve RPG combat: Force you to walk around the world when the story is linear.

The game is looped, yet you have to direct the MC to the showers, to work, through the multiple floors of the building, through the city itself. All of this could be done through a Ren'Py style click menu which would had massively cut down the time both player and dev had to spend on parts that don't matter.

It's stuff like this that makes me gun-shy about RPGM games. I don't want to spend time holding down an arrow key to move around a linear world when the dev has some fantastic art which can be used as background screens for the choice selections.

If the game is actually a combat RPG-style game then sure. But games like this makes the entire experience an exhaustive pain no matter how good the actual content is.

Its first time im rating a game. With better animations this game could be amazing with 5 star, also i wondering may be we can see some pregnancy in the future. And sometimes you wondering if you have new things to do in current update, may be a good walktrough will fix this as well. Such a good game with such an amazing protagonist

Really worth getting into. It is blackmail focused so a lot of people would be put off. Even me to some extent but because there's clear attempts to indicate character corruption, it feels like the main character is changing. It becomes less blackmail-centric all the way through and gradually more of the main character doing things for her own reasons to gather strength to fight back.

tbh could be made in renpy but i'm glad it isnt since the world is nice to look at and there aren't any really annoying location positions. (i.e. not much travel time).
