RPGM - The Office Wife [v0.93] [J. S. Deacon]

Solid game. lots of content, good writing, and the updates have been substantial. The art is pretty good too. all in all a dang fun game so far. I could take or leave the supernatural bits, but everything else is fun as hell.

Despite RPGM (which I usually find overly tedious), this is probably my favorite NTR tagged game because it's one of the few that actually has a corruption element for not only the wife, but also the husband.

It seems as if most NTR games have a husband who is all in for his wife banging anyone and everyone or is ridiculously oblivious.

Decent graphics, decent story, RPGM maneuvering isn't too bad as long as you follow the walkthrough, interesting twists/story,

This game must have one of the best corruption routes I've ever seen. It really takes it's time developing the corruption and does an amazing job at keeping it entertaining. The pacing is impeccable and the scene variation is immense. The story is well written, with likeable characters and interesting situations.

Almost all the models are average at best, but that doesn't even matter when the main character model looks so great.

Unlike almost every other game of this genre, all actions and decisions, even the most outrageous ones make sense given the circumstances the story imposes.

On the down side, sometimes some of the routinary scene dialogues can get a little repetitive, but even so, the payoffs are worth it.

This is definitely one of the best games in this site. After all, it's not everyday we see a game of this genre get so much acclaim, and in this case, it deserves every praise.

This game has some of the most erotic scenes I ever seen in adult game. And I am not talking about graphics. This game has solid text base. MC is lithe and feminine. Facial expressions fits text quite well. And so far I like this game.

Then why 3?

First of all this game is not an interactive game. The game gives you choices then and there but only few and not changing anything.
As I said above I like the game and it has some really good sex scenes, but sometimes I feel sorry for MC. You want at least to avoid some characters but you can't.

Secondly, what is this genius idea to make player run circles again and again waiting for certain days?! Why we have to wait the same sequence of animation every morning?! This game artificially prolonges gameplay with useless running. Why would you do that?

Epic game that keeps getting better and better thanks for the hard work. I can't wait to see how far out Stacy is going to go lol. My only issue is saves not working after each update but I could be doing something wrong since I'm on android. Anyway to add a skip text option in rpgm?

The CG is great but the dev really, really needs to consider thoughtful game design. The path forward is confusing, the progression is obtuse and the bugs frequently mean you've softlocked yourself without even realising.

Maybe in the future, but RPGM combined with bad progression really kills any recommendation I could have for this mess.

Awesome main character, super hot.

Biggest issue is the repetitive task that have to be done EVERY DAY.

I was literally getting pissed everytime I was forced to leave for lunch or have to take the subway only for nothing to happen. I would find a way to cut that time down.

MC is hot AF - big thanks to the author. Story is fine too. But the main disadvantage of this game lies in looooong grind and bugs.

Please renpy this game and it will be 5 star mos def.

What a pleasant surprise. While this game relies on the usual corruption scenarios that you see everywhere, the pacing, story and characterization really make it stand out.

The characters develop over time, change and have actual depth. The story develops organically and somewhat believably, unlike the pure stupidity of the scenarios you usually face in these games. The NTR path is done well, optional and actually doesn't rely on the usual tropes of the genre. Animations are great quality too.

You can tell this is done by someone that is a writer. So refreshing.

Regarding the grind - while it isn't bad...

- I would not play it without a walkthrough as the trial and error grind is unfun.
- You will still have to go through the same steps everyday that simulates her life and while that works for me, for most it won't be fun. Just a heads up: You need to play about 30days to see everything (0.35) if you do it optimally.

All in all a great game with a quality story without the usual issues that plague RPGM games.

Would give it a 3.5.

Wow this is so much better than I expected. If you love corruption and dont mind a bit of NTR (the guy is more into it than usual), this is the game for you. Also the progression is really steady and constantly leaves you wandering whats next. Finally, the story is, although quite fanatasy rich, way more believable than most games in the genre. One of my favorites

Some other game creators could learn a thing or two from the office wife decent content with each update. Great story everything A+. Cant wait for something to happen between her and the heavy set guy at night

Cons :
1- wish there were other women in the game apart from the MC.
2- The grinding is too much, lots and lots of repetitive scenes, some of them will get a little update along the way and that's another problem. you never know how many times you should repeat something so that maybe some scenes or dialogues change (i.e the bathroom scene at work, the gym, showering at the gym and...)
3- some aspects of the game are pointless, like the lunch thing, i didn't get any scenes from 2 out of the 3 places available for lunch so why not just have 1 ?
4- Maybe it's just me but i always enjoy a "stats" feature in games like this, to keep track of how many times the MC has had sex, cheated, masturbated & etc. although this sits well with this game, we don't have that.

Pros :
1- the artwork is nice, not the best but pretty decent
2- i love the genre, the sharing content with the husband's consent (for the better part of it). i loved the fact that this is not just another wife becoming a whore instantly with a dumb husband who doesn't have a clue. it could be even better if there were other girls or couples and the option of swinging. and if we feel wild let's give the husband a chance to be with other girls in front of the MC.
3- the corruption doesn't happen instantly 'one day a loving wife and next day a whore!' which we see in many games & i think that's lovely.
4- although the story doesn't deserve a noble prize but it creates some mysteries which is quite intriguing. i particularly loved the MC's background story and i wished it could be used a little during the game and not just the beginning.
To summarize this game isn't flawless but it's pretty damn good and hopefully it will get better with each update.

SPOILERS (based on v.35)

My first thought was "another RPGM" nightmare with repetitive grinding leading to handjobs and flashing for weeks. Fortunately, I was wrong.

Let me start by saying, I really appreciate this game, but it's not my thing. That doesn't mean I can't give it a good review, but the last update jumped the shark for me.

Pros:
The story is well written. The basic plot shares a lot of similarities with other corruption games, but it is a semi-fresh take. Regardless, the characters are well written and Stacy seems aware and reasonably intelligent. As the story progress, she is very self aware, despite not being able to stop it, and seems to deal with it as the plot warrants.

Stacy is hot. Well modeled, good outfits and solid renders. Sex content is also very good.

The game is really more cucking than NTR. For purposes of this review, I am defining NTR as cheating on a spouse or a defined bd/gf. In this case, the husband is into his wife messing around with other people. The gray area is that he wants to be part of it and included in it and Stacy does not always tell him everything. So yes, there is eventually some NTR but it is an odd NTR as again, her husband has pretty much given his blessing.

All of this is great. She starts to explore her new self and begins to enjoy certain aspects of it. Between guys in the warehouse all the way up to her boss, she slowly pushes the boundary's.

Cons:
The cons for me started showing up in this latest version. I like strong women. I don't mind that they are slutty or like being treated like a slut in "the bedroom" so to speak, but I prefer when the women have some control and can opt in or out of things. There were times at the end of this update where she really seemed like she was not comfortable and tried be back out but Nate would not let her. Regardless, there are really two big issues for me.

Nate. He is best friends with Jason who has been generous enough to let Nate bang his hot wife. I think there should be some deference given to Jason, but Nate just runs roughshod over his relationship with Jason. I think he takes too many liberties as Jason didn't seem that much of a pushover. I realize this may be part of the story telling as Jason slowly watching his wife become something else, but still, I think Nate should be a bit more thankful and humble with Jason and Stacy.

The main issue, for me, is Stacy is kind of a bad ass. She intimidated the cop and blew up a bus and yet now she is being forced to wear clothes that are waaaayyyy to inappropriate for the office. I mean, regardless of what she is doing in her personally life, she still needs to work, and unless they are going to set her up in her own office and pay her to be the office wife anyone can use throughout the day, I have a hard time with this. I know Stacy is starting not to care about anything, but she is clearly losing control of her life and that is hard for me to understand.

Finally, I would like to see some other women. Her boss has a limited role as well as her deskmate, but that's it. And we hardly see them.

Conclusion
At the end of the day, the story is heading down a path I am not sure I can follow. It started great and for a lot of people, it is probably still great, but it's just not for me. Regardless, just because it's not my thing, does not mean it's bad; it just means it's not my thing. The Dev seems to work hard, produces solid CGs and delivers regular updates and that alone is worth 4 stars.

Very good game, it is a simple but entertaining dynamic, good story, good characters but the amount of errors that are generated when not using the guide are demaciated, so much so that I had to start the game several times and keep recording many times so as not to commit mistakes. They should somehow block actions to avoid unnecessary attacks.

This game is barely 6 months old (version 0.35), but its moving fast enough into open-space-office-slut mode, which is good by me, as I hate "slow-burn" (i.e. slow-scam) games. The sharing/hotwife/willing NTR fetish is being exploited in a rather original and enticing way.

This game looks a lot like Nick Fifa's Elena's Life, but the female MC here is smarter, and her cucked hubby is more interesting as well.

1) Cuck hubby here starts out by encouraging the MC to fuck his friend and colleague, but he might very well regret unleashing a true monster: he's not the usual NTR victim who never evolves. This spices up the sharing/NTR fetish.

2) Stacy, the MC in this game, is not a total moron like Elena, she actively teases her bosses, and is aware that her ass, mouth and pussy might give her advantages and protection from some bosses against others, if needed. Cool. I love sluts who are also venal, corrupt, evil, and therefore smart.

I can only hope she'll become increasingly manipulative. I like the idea of having all three floors of the workplace eventually (but soon!) pound her, however its important she loses any kind of innocence in the process. The supernatural element in the story (which I usually don't like, its often a poor way to justify corruption) might very well guarantee that. Fingers crossed.


The Good

-Good quality renders.

-The MC model is very good, though I hope for more make-up: please do not make the lack of make-up contradict her sluttiness and clothing!

-As said, the pace at which sexual content is becoming more perverted and kinky is acceptable, though I hope for more fucking and less teasing as the story unfolds.

-The latest outfit is hot and sexy as hell, even if version 0.35 is a massive cliffhanger in this sense, since the update ends with her simply buying it. But hell, this ups the expectations for the next update, when we'll see her wearing it in action!


The Bad

-RPGM in 2020...brrrr...repetitive daily actions, and the spaces are quite big as well, by other games' standards, so the walking time from one place to the next is longer than it could be, really.

-Some 3D panels are unskippable. That daily dream sequence, even if it does evolve, just takes too long.

-Please pose those new awesome platform high heels correctly, dev! Her first high heel sandals bended in barefoot posing mode, its really cringing for a high heel fetish like myself! I'm praying to the Gods of porn you'll respect those beautiful new high-heels you've now given her, and pose them correctly, whatever the body posing!!


This dev deserves support. The good points make the bad ones easily forgiveable. Keep up the good work dev!

It's got intrigue, some seriously sexy moments and more than a few laughs. It's out there, fun, and yet somehow feel realistic while being totally outlandish. Can't wait for the next update

This is one of those games where you just sort of lose yourself into it. You get this urge for the next step forward down this sultry path for the MC. You get these little tid bits and it allows you to truly see all of the slow changes happening to her.

I will admit some scenes do get a little repetitive especially when you are going through multiple days trying to figure out what the next checkpoint is. But it is always worth it and never hard to find. The game does a decently good job at guiding you to where you need to go and what you need to do next to progress the story.

I like all of the outfit changes that the MC goes through, altering everything piece by piece and I truly look forward to seeing just how far she can push the boundaries at the office. I personally know what I would like to see happen with her outfit.

Either way I will be adding this game to my list of games to watch closely.

Why this game is great?

1. The scenes are great. (+1)
2. Story is great. I would still play if this was a non sex game. I am still unsatisfied that there is no mention how the story progresses. (+1, -1, =0)
3. Great anatomy. Not just female, but male aswell. No super melons or horse ding-dongs. (+2)
4. Characters are true to their nature. (counts in story so no points.)
5. Corruption done right. Slow and gradual. (+1)
6. Exhibitionism and Voyeurism done okay (since it was only okay, no extra points.)


What I hated.
1. The game is long, but not because it has a lot of content but because it is repetitive. It feels like playing a ren'py instead of a RPGM since there aren't really choices for you to choose from. The story progresses linearly. (-1)
2. Clothing. While anatomy in the game was awesome, the clothing was messed up. clothes don't stick to the sternum when someone has boobs that big and is wearing a bra. (0, won't pick off points for something like this.)
3. The options are messed, like I am forced into the NTR route even if I choose the non NTR one. (-2)

Suggestions for improvement:
1. Options in the clothing, Since the game is being published out as a RPGM, there is no reason to not add choices to dressing. more colors, more undergarments would be great.
2. Repetitiveness is okay and part of RPGM, but there should be a button to speed/skip it. (I am not aware of the coding behind it so i am not sure if this can be implemented)
3. This seriously needs a recap room.
