It's corruption i think , the magic Amulet corrupts her and her husband.

I am really trying to remember, was there dialogue or moments confirming the necklace was effecting the husband? I don't recall that, thus I found the first scene with the friend and him basically giving his wife away so jarring...poof he is a cuck.

I would really like to know if there was a confirmed moment of the necklace magic effecting the husband, would change my view of the game for the positive if so (without doing a full replay).

Yes, it's very much confirmed - it effects not just him, but everyone around her, and him the most, being closest to her. Later on in the game, she can choose to give him a potion that suppresses its effect, but that eventually wears off.

I guess I will go back to the start. I always felt that initial share was jarring, unexplained and did not like the removal of the cheating aspect, possible discovery, it took away some of the thrill of the game for me. I hope he had some inner reflection that I missed (it was a long time ago) on the change, the magic forcing him into the path kinda thing. Thanks for the reply.

Why does this game have save file already

The dev always provides one from the end of the previous update for the convenience of players. I think it's a good idea.

OK gone back and am replaying from the beginning. Found the return of the hubby - ok you are right. It really changes the vibe of the hubby and why, even others - and I can appreciate that. What would really truly make this game so VERY much better would be a tiny, small, minor change at the beginning.

Show it, a minor glow in hubbys eyes, a dizzy spell, something, or an inner reflection moment - showing why the sudden change in him and others. If that was there from the beginning the change or actions make so much more sense and adds a level to the game. One screen, a minor glow or flash in the side characters eyes when they start to do something at the beginning. i.e. right before he asks his pal to bang his wife - right out of the blue. Playing for hours before you finally see evidence of it means players just think the hubby is a natural cuck.

After leaving work, I'm supposed to go leave the "X" for X to meet me the next day for the missing girl thing, then I go home and talk to Donnie, but when it gets to this scene it freezes.

Can't do anything. F2 to see FPS and MS works, F4 to toggle full screen are the only thing that works.

One of the things that drew me to this was the office free sex theme, the game got away from it for a while but seemed to be coming back with the sales calls with Jim, and Marcus, and now Nate at lunch opening up. Simon was an ass, but wanted to see him go further, as well as the break doom opening up (especially after the David scene). Hopefully we'll get more from the office as this continues as that was one of the better parts of the game IMO.

Yeah it seems to work fine playing from the beginning, but any autosave file fails. Anyone got a save file from playing 0.93 from the beginning?

So I encountered a breaking bug on day 2 of new update, when I go up to the first floor, dialogue about Mickael still not being back, Stacy walks out of the stairs and "inside the walls", can't get out...

Any idea how to get out ?

Edit : the workaround is to get up from the other stairs, but still
