I like the idea! I was also thinking about adding some texts like "I tricked her with a 50 dollars dress" or something like that. So even if he don't get it anymore he can still create/buy a new one quite easily.
Maybe in a sequel one day, but I will focus on other games/stories for the moment I think.

that dialogue works too, its much more fun if it is a worthless dress.

i thought of another fun (at least to me) alternate ending where when walking home with her boyfriend they pass by a clearance clothing store, and she sees several of her "one of a kind" dress in the window for $10 to which her boyfriend would say "hey, it's your dress babe. hope you got a good deal at that other store"

yeah, i think that if she personally knows she fell for a scam it makes the whole thing hit harder. and the new render looks great, i look forward to seeing you develop more.
