Im glad to see youve already put thoughts into it with the unclickable locations and job request buttons.
Glad someone noticed haha. It wasn't for nothing!
- Will the possibility of a blacksmith in town mean we might see some different outfits on Aster? Something like tailoring different robes or clothing that may enhance/change some of her reactions?
Clothes for Aster will probably go to the regular Shop. A vulgar Tailor might appear too. Blacksmith shop will be a place for buying combat equipment for Hero and probably a place for Aster to work part-time.
- Following up on that, Ive seen comments about the combat turn orders, and while I dont mind how youve set them up a small tutorial on how combat functions and which moves counter what would be appreciated. Took me forever to realize that Heavy Hits are best countered with thrusts instead of slashing, and that resting didnt heal hp unless Aster was around and had mana (it seems at least)
Nothing counters anything yet! Please don't mind it. It's just an imitation of the future sort of rock-paper-scissors battle system. Aster either heals Hero or damages the enemy with magic spear as long as she has enough mana and the party is not split, no matter what you do.

Thank you!

I have a suggestion for the inventory and item pricing. It could be interesting to limit the amount of some items you're able to carry into the dungeon. Say you can hold a total of 5 torches and 5 potions. Would give an insentive to swap to bigger potions even if the're more expensive. Allowing Aster to hold items could also be interesting as you would not be able to access those if split. She could also hold mana potions of her own.

Another suggestion: Have you considered adding item loot to chests? Currently you only find money, you could add stuff like gems and whatnot that require you to actually complete the dungeon in order to bring them with you.

Splitting up currently seems not worth it. Maybe if you added rare/valuable rooms to each side of a split every now and then, or if the split chains for more than 4 rooms, it could entice the player to go for both. Not sure what exceptionally rare items you would place there.

Another game I've played that feels a bit simillar had various underwear and clothing options you could get as rare drops. Maybe an idea.

Have you considered adding more non-outfit customization options in the future for Aster? Like hairstyles, hair/eye color, piercings so on?

Very excited to see where the game goes.

Yes, I don't really like the hairstyle itself, and the color. Of course, this might just be a matter of taste, but I would love to see a different hairstyle or hair color option, at least in one of the future updates. ^^ I'll be looking forward to the new updates! you do good job!

I have another idea on restricting inventory, but in a softer manner. Instead of adding an arbitrary limit to item slots, I can make the price starting to grow after buying a certain amount of a single item for the same delve run. Do you think my solution will improve the current balance?
Regarding item loot, yes. I thought about it. More than that, I doubt that chests will contain any money in the future. Only items - consumables and trinkets to sell after delving.

Piercings and hairstyles - probably.
I'm hesitant about adding color customization, never been a fan of it in games myself. Maybe a couple of preset color options will be there later. But not RGB sliders, I'm afraid.

1. Right-click on .exe file -> "Copy"
2. Right-click in the desired location -> "Paste Shortcut"
3. Right-click on shortcut -> "Properties"
4. There is a path to an executable file in quotes. You should add the argument after these quotes:
"D:\path\to\file\ppsr.exe" --rendering-driver opengl3
5. "OK"
6. Execute the shortcut

so is she supposed to be tired an unavailable for a date or to talk to after every delve? Cause it seems like after delving the only option is to just delve again unless I'm missing something

can you add the ability to heal while in battle?
Yes, I think about it. It would be easier to implement if I didn't want "Use item" action to take up more than one (out of five) turn stages.

Yes. That's intended.

Is there any blowjob scene yet?

Not sure if I got all the H-scenes that there is in the game so far.
Hello.
"This" - Meat rod stroking
This (with abdomen licking, please don't leave out such details), voluntary petting of Aster's nether regions, finger sucking and meat rod sniffing are the most "extreme" and arousal demanding actions available at the moment.

Very cool game, can't wait to see where it goes, do have to agree, that some sort of leveling system is missing.
To hear, that items are in the game already makes it quite promising, and I have wondered already in battle, whether or not there is some sort of counter mechanic in the game with some moves being visible in advance.

I would equally like to throw in my ideas as well:
  • As others have mentioned, having some sort of incentive for splitting the party would be appreciated, maybe they find some extra loot, along with some sort of scene. You are subject to a lot higher risk by running without the pair by not being able to rely on their healing or damage.
  • Being able to camp out during a longer delve sounds like a good idea, obviously gives a chance for some unique scenes to happen.
  • Maybe the ability to actively spy on Aster and the mentor when you split up, losing something in the process, like having all light drained and missing out on loot and XP which you'd get from the other path, but be able to see more than an outline on whatever they'd get up to when they're actually on their own.
  • Losing your consumables definitely isn't great. I can understand it, if you fail the delve, but don't get why you would "loose" torches and potions if you finish it successfully, at least not without a reason of some sort, maybe there's a curse on the dungeon that destroys certain things that enter, which could maybe even be expanded upon to have equipment be sabotaged by having the mentor taint clothing and equipment during a run.
  • The rest is obviously still quite barebones, I would enjoy seeing some overworld events. I can see the setup for some stuff up there when you fail a dungeon, but isn't expanded upon yet. Having more interactions, possibly to do some jobs in the overworld if money is as tight as Aster hints at. Or some opportunity for the MC to have some lewd interactions with the townsfolk through quests and favors.
  • A kind of upgrade card system might be worthwhile, depending on how in-depth the combat system is going to be. Being able to choose new skills, attacks and the like would be cool, maybe an actual parry or block ability with some hard hitters on bosses or the like.
  • The fights do get quite repetitive while you don't have much agency over fights at the moment, I'd end up low on stamina and just do Slash -> Thrust -> Rest over and over again. 6 rounds may be just too many at once to be honest, doesn't feel good to fight stuff yet.
  • Effects aren't impactful yet, you never really know what you've gotten hit by, that someone else in the party attacked or that you were healed without any real indicator, beside some short, faint soundeffect while the rounds just fly by. And I don't think I've really looked at the combat log at all since there isn't really anything you can do about anything yet. I'd end up slapping in what I'm doing in a turn and just wait, just checking my health and do the same again, hoping I don't die.
  • Depending on how long the game is supposed to be per full run; it might not be a bad idea to lean more into roguelike elements and let the player choose some sort of upgrade, vampire survivors style, if there were not that many... lets say 10 delves per playthrough (personally don't like missing out on stuff and having to do everything all over again though)
I personally don't quite get the problem people have with Aster's look, but if I had to point to something, then I'd guess it's the bright neon like flat colors on her that bite a bit, possibly the mint ice cream hair.

Still, good job so far, excited to see what comes next.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback! Okay, that's fair. I doubt I'll make these items persist even after a successful run. I will need to explain inventory clears somehow, I get it.

There's definitely a lot that needs to be done to improve combat clarity. Do you have any suggestions on how I should improve it beyond adding SFX and animations? I'm thinking of slightly increasing the delays between turn stages (of those five) and adding a delay to each log message so they don't pop up in bulk.

That definitely sounds like a good idea, separating the individual turns is definitely not a bad idea. Though I could see it becoming tedious even later on, similar to random fights in JRPGs, so I'd keep the current speed, or even a faster mode as a way to blitz through combat in case you're doing some lower level easier dungeons to, for example, grind some money for a delve or two before attempting a longer, harder one.

There are a ton of free sound and sprite effects out there that could be used to add some flavor, having lets say, the party view's border change color to indicate one of them is doing something would help, as well as just wiggling the enemy's portrait when it gets hit or does an attack would probably already help a decent bit.

Having a separator between turns might not be bad to improve clarity i.e.

Turn 1:
Hero hits Slime
Slime hits Hero
Turn 2:
...

Doesn't exactly need to count turns though, just as an idea.
Font size seems a little large, might help to turn it down a small notch to fit more of a turn in the log

Hello. What unarchiver are you using? I tried opening the archive with windows explorer and it didn't report any issues. I assume that the culprit is this file containing "?" in its name. You can try to extract everything but this file or re-download the game from itch, I just updated the archive there

thanks that solved the issue. I'm on Steam Os and using built in unpacker, the "?' must have been the issue
