The dev really should have waited until he fixed the problems that appeared when his SSD failed, because now idiots are downloading the half-broken versions, and start screaming "where content??? dev delets sex from gam to milk mony!!!!" (the dev literally said that the content is missing or broken because of the SSD failing, and he's working on fixing it).
Like, fucking read what the dev said, please. Yes, the state of the update is sad, to say the least, but, maybe don't download the update when the dev says "update is half-broken".

People complain that the version they get is fucked and start calling dev a scammer.
Like, I get that it's been a while, but shit happens sometimes. The dev was very up front about this version being borked due to hardware failure, getting mad at the dev for "lying", "scamming", or anything else seems a little absurd. Being upset that the game got borked? That's fair, I'm sure Protochel is too. Being mad at Protochel that the game is borked? Seems a bit unreasonable if you ask me.

Not sure if you want to mod already made games or create one yourself. I'm not an expert myself, I just like to analyze code and mess around with numbers, as for the "trainer" like menu I have zero clue how to code it on my own. A lot of the time (at least for me) in Godot, I just take other games made with it and change around their numbers and see how things work, you'd also need some skill in animating stuff for making any new scenes for TPPSR. Maybe you could try checking the little setup guide JustAnotherUser1618 made in this thread for this game and mess around with how Prosto codes his work?
I tried to run the game on Windows in 32-bit mode by downloading the corresponding Godot 4.5.1 and replacing the .exe.
The game launches, but the dungeon doesn't start: after selecting a dungeon and its generation, I start it — a merchant window should appear, but it doesn't and nothing happens.
Previously I noted that the peek on OpenGL3 shows a black screen; the screen is still black.
I also experienced all this on the 1.5 version provided by Cakeey.

Never mind the game itself (actually do mind that, it's still excellent at scratching a super niche itch) but surely this bit alone puts him into the top 1% of Devs with F95 threads
