chef respects the cannon, the game timeline is after the events of ME2 surely when shep surrenders the SR-2 to the alliance and the normandy crew went solo. if we will see a pilgrimage ch-3 the normandy girls could be all together depending if the timeline is during the events of ME3 or after ME3. A scenario after ME3 seems more likely to me, since during ME3 several girls from Normandy (Jack, Miranda, Kasumi, Samara) were on their own. And judging by the new trailer of ME, Shepard might be alive and Liara is looking for him. Or at least that's what it seems to me. A third episode of The Pilgrimage could be about the girls or something like that searching for Shepard or following his trail.
