I agree, but I would phrase it a bit differently:Do what YOU like and what YOU want. And this best way to good game.
Plan a game you want to make, make it, release often, but listen to constructive criticism. This allows you to avoid some pitfalls you're likely to fall into if doing everything entirely alone until the product is finished. On the other hand, don't let even the constructive criticism to lead you too far off the path of your vision, keep it consistent and well within your preferences.
This way you're 1) not going ot loose your momentum, by being forced into doing something you don't like, and 2) have an early opportunity to correct some of your design mistakes.
In other words, yv0751, keep doing what you're doing anyway.
