6.5/10
Now with a
great translation out, the game is now playable!
Story/Writing:
The overall story isn’t that good, but it’s at least enough to sell you on the idea that the protagonist is a princess. She has an air and attitude of a haughty noble and sets the stage for the setting to break her down. The writing I think falls a little flat, probably because everyone acts the same, so even if the writing for the girl is decent enough, it feels monotonous.
The corruption of Leticia is very granular and slow, which I think is a good thing. It sells you very well on the idea that she’s a proud princess and makes it very satisfying once she slowly breaks down showing increasingly more skin to allowing herself to get groped.
Gameplay:
It’s actually pretty good by rpgm standard, and for better or worse, it’s pretty involved.. There are a lot of systems in place for you to tinker with. There are different classes you can use, skill trees for each class, weapons and armor have slots that you can fill with extra blessings, and there’s an upgrade weapon system. The procedural generation of the dungeon and the randomness of the items in the dungeon make for interesting replayability.
It’s also very important to understand that progression in this game is tied to you clearing a majority of h-scenes in a set before the next set of h-scenes can be accessed. I’ll also cover this in the next section.
Art/H-Scenes
I personally think the art is pretty good, and Leticia is quite cute. However, there isn’t that much unique CG, and assets are re-used very often. In fact, the progression of the game can be tied directly to what ‘stage’ you are at in terms of outfit. Starting off with a bath towel, then progressing into a swimsuit, and etc. Each set of h-scenes will generally only use a certain outfit. Then you exhaust those scenes and move on to the next set of scenes with the new outfit.
Tying everything together, what ends up happening is that most of the scenes tend to feel same-y. All of the scenes involve coaxing Leticia into wearing an outfit and then trying to get her to show more. Or having Leticia already in an outfit, and then groping her. And this isn’t helped by the lack of unique CG.
Some scenes can go on for very long, and because the game makes extensive use of emotes, it can also break up the pacing of the dialogue. Like you want to read more and more, but you need to wait for the character models on the screen to finish their little ‘heart’ emote that pops up all the time.
Conclusion:
While the game has a pretty interesting combat system, and a setting that sells you Leticia slowly breaking down from princess to slut, there are just too many little things that chip away at the game.
The pacing of the h-scenes is clunky and slow. You have a distinct lack of agency when it comes to h-scenes as you typically have to go through a majority of scenes before you can unlock the next set. This means if you don’t like a certain h-scene thread, you might be out of luck and you’ll have to go through it anyways. The reusing of the same outfit for every scene and the lack of unique CG make a lot of the scenes feel same-y.
I don’t want to end this on all negatives though. 6.5 is still respectable. The scenes that are unique are incredible, and if you sit through some of the longer scenes, they are quite good. And, while yes you lack agency, this means they crafted the moments where she falls into degeneracy with intention, and it pays off (like when she finally gets groped). Also, they wrote out scenes for her pregnancy with just about every character in the game, which is insane lol.
I’ll be looking forward to anything else they make in the future.
