Well, even if it was proven, what'd you expect to happen? Fan translations are already a legal grey area, it's not like some random guy translating a game without any licensing or permission would be able to sue a company the translation was licensed to. It's like stealing already stolen property: The second thief might face problems if it ever went to court, but the first thief has no case to litigate without digging their own hole so much more deeper, so they're never actually going to court to figure it out.

It's kind of an old game, CGs are nice but sadly not animated.
Narrative wise the game it's pretty good for the time it was released, give it a try if you like slow corruption games.
Quite linear actually progress the Dungeon u get a check point once u do u town has new scenes more scenes u do more corrupted she gets if u progress each npc u get a prego ending with 1 at some point so make sure to save then ones u did all the scnes in town progress dungeon again

Just copy the `picture` folder from JP version to Kagura version. And all the old save files should work.

Yeah I follow them on Ci-en because Zeven was good and Grace was even better. Their next game looks awesome as well. It's even one of those devs that constantly post née preview pics without a pay wall.
Putting aside the allegations of stealing that we can't prove, what we can say for a fact is already bad enough.
Zeven came out when the market wasn't very developed and standards were lower. The game is good...for that time. If it came out today fresh on DLsite I'd give it a passing mark at best.
Or I might pass on it altogether because it uses the much worse VXace system thats so much worse than MV. I'm genuinely not even interested in the translation for this now. Having played the developer's later game (grace) which is so much better, that uses a newer system and even has animations, my interest in Zeven is basically zero at this point (and I already own it on DLsite!).
I totally get the developer lamenting that they should have negotiated a date of release in the contract.
