Which settings did you use to achieve this quality? I've been messing around with Lossless Scaling and can't seem to get the quality as good as yours is here. Images all still look very pixelated and "aliased" to hell when fullscreened. It's not stopping me from playing the game but I'd love to make it look as nice as yours :D

I'm using Lossless Scaling v2.2.5 if that makes a difference.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out some settings that look good. View attachment 3126606

The images are all sharp and crispy now. Gotta love it. If anyone else is curious, here's what I went with for settings in Lossless Scaling:

I tried all of the other scaling types, but for some reason Anime4k on Ultra Large just looks the best. The others do sharpen the image up a bit but they retain a lot of blurriness, while these settings keep the quality intact without introducing blur.

Just figured I'd share. Maybe someone else will find this useful
Thanks for good tip.

Anyone know if it's possible to unlock this building, or did the developer just forget about it?

I've already completed the game, this screenshot is during the 'epilogue' and it's still locked up. Did a search of this thread but I didn't see any mention of this. Looks like it was maybe supposed to be a church? Not sure...

Any ideas?

Did you do the Cleric class? Not sure but maybe it's linked to that. I'd have to pull the old one out again to check.

Good call, I actually haven't really changed classes too much so that's probably the thing I'm missing. I found a Drain Life sword early on in one of the first few dungeons and just kept upgrading it as swordswoman class with miracle jewels (to give it extra element slots). That thing literally carried me through the entire game, especially once I started combining elements to make them stronger. Adding a few maxed out regeneration and vampiric elements to that sword made combat rather trivial even on Hard difficulty. The final final dungeon (layer 8, post-game) is also pretty easy with this thing, since as long as you have a big enough HP pool to tank the hits you will heal up to 100% every round.

I've been grinding out that final dungeon just to max out stats and such, mostly out of curiosity/boredom/completionism. I've seen almost all of the scenes in recollection except a bunch of the optional side quests I missed earlier in the game when corruption levels were lower. I'll have to look in the recollection room again to see if there are any mentions of the cleric class.

Relatedly, do you know what the "???" class is? I'm guessing I'll need to unlock it by working through other classes first or something? It's weird that I somehow missed so much of this game despite all the time I've sunk into it.

Really good game! I'm glad I slept on this one as long as I did and got to play it after the official translation. This is exactly what I was looking for recently, a reaaaal slow burn corruption RPG. Hopefully Grace (another game by this circle) gets a proper TL soon too... it looks just as good as this one.

There's a fan translation of that game in the works that's at least as good as Kagura's typical standards. And the official translation is being done by a notoriously bad translation group who just uses MTL. Your best bet there is to wait until the fan translation is complete, and then never touch the official version.

I dont think Grace of the Labyrinth Town is going to get any fan translation anytime soon.

There were 2 different people doing fan translation for Grace. The first guy abandoned translation, because he noticed that 2nd guy is much better at translating. And then 2nd guy paused his translation, when there was news about oficial translation. He basically adopted "wait and see" aproach.

You can have higher res full screen now. Download and install Lossless Scaling v2.2.5

This is a sample picture after that apps improves graphics and moves it into full screen: (click to enlarge)

Went back to look, to get Cleric you need to win medals in the Casino and exchange them for a Clergy Memory, or some similar name, which should open it. Saw the note about ??? as the Pregnant Princess class, not sure about Berserker.

Casino exchange closes after you finish the jobs, so it's something to get while you can get the loans.

Ah, I used the swordsman class for the first few layers so powered through that one. Changing classes is useful for a few of the bosses.
Yeah so... "Couldn't damage the enemy" is destroying all my nerves ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Have tried multiple classes and still can't kill him...
(Don't want to give up, but really want to ask for a save right after layer 4, or maybe some kind of build for the boss...)

I know I am stupid as shit... But how tf do you clear the fourth layer?
Guide to boss fights:

Easy guide:
Find out resistances of enemy, choose apropriate element and rape enemy.

More thorough guide:
1.) Talk with the old man before Cyclops for 2nd time. He will provide you with information about mini boss Cyclops (he will tell you some info directly and he will update Monster Cyclopedia).
2.) After that enter inventory, go check out Monster Encyclopedia and find information about Cyclop. You can see his stats and when you press Enter it will change into Resistances.
3.) Check Resistences and choose one Element with high hit chance. Preferably choose something you have a lot of in inventory. For example: I had a lot of Blindness element and I had 120% chance to put that Debuff on Cyclops, so it was obvious choice.
4.) Choose a melee class (Swordman, Dancer, whatever). Cyclops is imune to magic so Priest, Sorceress and similar mage classes are useless.
5.) Pick some good weapon (preferably with 1st Element Blindness) and put Blindness Elements into remaining slots.
6.) Pick some good defense equipment and place apropriate defense Elements there (Earth, defense, evasion, etc.). There are many combinations. For example when you go for Evasion, you can skip Blindness and get different debuff for a weapon.
7.) Go win the fight

8.) If you have trouble winning when you have done all of the above, then you might be underleveled. So dont rush through 4th floor. Go to Layer 4, Floor 10 (or is it Floor 4 and Layer 10?) and keep running in circles to have random fights and get some XP to level up. After you get stronger you can try again.

PS: This advice works for any boss fights.

i used dancer for cyclop btw, the boss keeps being charmed so he didn't act at all
Yeah, Charm is also good debuff. Combined with Dancer and its bonus chance to inflict Charm it is OP.

Like I have written: there are many possibilities. Just check Resistances and find out what might work.
