Remember when chapter took a month? Is it me or images just slow down whole prosess. I see that new chapters much bigger, but I have my doubts. Great work othervise.
I do remember that. But chapters were much shorter, 17/18k words. Now they are usually about 40k or more. Also it was just one main path, branching into two or maybe three. Now I have no less than sixteen variations I must keep in mind. I must alter and keep track of the text according to the player's love interest from book I, the selected path on book II, the general disposition on the loving/wicked spectrum, not to mention the secondary love interests such as little Emerald.
The tree does not only grow tall but also wide and my choice is always to either cut the branches or trim all of them. I believe my current release schedule is a reasonable compromise between keeping the story varied open while also moving it forward.
I have an artist and a programmer who help me with the images. Implementing them takes me a few hours of work, the impact they have on the release schedule is neglectable and I believe they are well worth it.
I just double-checked and everything seems to be in order.

Just released version 9.5 with the fully illustrated chapter 4 (the biggest one, for now). Please enjoy. And if you do, please consider leaving a review as it helps other people to find the game. See you in 2025 for chapter 10 and... possibly... a surprise.

Hey,
i know only if someone plays the game with linux this error will happen,
but i want to let the developer know :
The image-folder "Art" is different from "art"...
Same for file-names - but these are correct as far i can see.
Linux and maybe mac-os are case sensitive.
So if sometimes images are in the "Art" - Folder and in Game the path is named "art",
they will not be displayed.
Or Vice versa.
Look at my Screenshot - i copied the Folder so the Game has both to choose
Since the Game is about ~ 35 MB its no Problem to have both Folders.
Another little hint : Putting all files in the downloadable zip-file into a folder would be easier to unzip.
Maybe : QoP ? As in my Screenshot

Yes, as of now after the end of chapter 4 you are locked into a specific path and affection points don't have anymore of a bearing on your route (At least for now as of Chap 9).
