Hello everyone! Here's a quick development update on
The Realm of Samsara:
Over the past few days, I’ve completed the core systems for
equipment mechanics as well as the underlying
code structures for both main and side quests. This includes the technical framework for triggering quests, tracking their progress, and organizing player interaction logic.
What’s next?
I'm now moving into
task-level content creation:
- Designing actual quest content for both main and side missions
- Writing character dialogues and narrative branches
These will bring more personality, emotional depth, and world-building into the game.
Expanded Gameplay = More Characters
With the gameplay expanding beyond traditional visual novel boundaries,
character modeling has become a bigger task. As a result, many
new characters will be introduced to fit the richer storylines and quest variety.
