This game interests me, but it burns... very slowly.
It seems no one is actually talking about the gameplay loop, so allow me to fill you in.
The game has a sanity mechanic. Drinking coffee, reading, and spending time with Freya and Pippi bring up your sanity.
Watching TV, sleeping, going out on the town at night lower your sanity.
Some events are dictated by how much or how little sanity you have. However, if your sanity gets too low, you are summoned to the doll's room. She will suck your dick and put you back at healthy sanity.
The main area to 'explore' is the library Archives. Going to the library during the day will sometimes let you enter the archives. I'm not certain, but the ability to enter the library is probably dictated by the day of the week. The archives are... tedious.I have tried to draw maps of their layout, but the entry point doesn't seem to be the same, and hallways will just shift and change. If you attempt to immediately turn around after entry, the exit door is not there. It seems the entry door just chucks you randomly into the maze. So far, I have discovered two 'events'. A fallen bookshelf with a crawlspace, but the player is too chicken to actually go into it. And a door with a bowl that a bunch of tiny people populate. I need something to put in the bowl, but I have been unable to find anything I can pick up.
