You will never be able to finish the game as the original dev. intended too. Be inspired from the game, and make your own version of it fine, but don't try to continue the game or to finish it. That will be an insult to the game, the original dev. and everyone who supported him.

Honestly, I was just going by his activity here and on Patreon. But thanks for the detailed info! Now I at least have an idea of which direction to take the plot. So, what was the news from the author like a year or two ago? And is there any way to drop the renders here?

Please bear with me, as it's been quite a while since I last played this game, so my memory might be wrong. But as far as I remember, there is more unfinished path in the game. Like the path with the college girls, while the secretary is kept away with pointless tasks. There is at least 1 path where it in the game says something like "not available yet". There is also the spying on the secretary's daughter at home, in bed, in shower etc. and probably also sex with her in her bed at night or when she is home alone. And then there is the blind girl. It's pretty clear that there was going to be sex at some point in time. Also the the whole lab story was just started. And these are just the ones I remember on top of my head.
As far as I remember, no one continued Lab Rats. They made a new version of Lab Rats, with new renders and code, changed a number of things, added new content, and dropped some content. I think they even changed game platform too. I'm fine with that. It's what I call be inspired of another game. But what Allm is planing to do, as far as I understand, is to take the code and renders that the original dev has made and continue from that point. That is stealing, and it will be a Frankenstein game, as he will not be able to continue the game in the same style as the original dev did.Beside that. As far as I understand. He is not planning to finish the game. He will just make a half ass finish for a few paths, he likes to be finished.
This is also one of my favorite games, and I would hate to see it becoming a Frankenstein. It can't be continued without the original dev. His style is too unique for that, and his style is why it's so good.
