well... idk man .. from what i know the servers for the site can be anywhere on the world and since no one knows where it is i dont think they can enforce the local laws .. we just have the rule and this is my reasoning by the way is cause we already have too much problems as it is with us being an pirate site getting DMCAed every day and copyright agencies being on our asses which is why getting chased by every other law agency in the world for having child pornography is something the staff doesn't want to deal with.

Depending where you live is a factor.

I live in the UK, 16 is the legal age here so that's my limit. I know some countries are younger, I believe Japan is 12, but that tends to get frowned on.

To play it safe around 17-18 should keep people happy.

Your talking about the age of consent that is very different. sexualization of people under 18 in most of the world is illegal
