Click on "Latest Updates" at the top of the site, it shows you the latest releases on F95. On the right put "roommate" in the search field and it will refine what is shown. Note the clock icon for this game says "2 years" instead of a few days (whenever 0.8.5 was posted)

If it were correct, the game would be the newest release shown.

I'm not exactly sure where, but there's a database entry to change that date, it doesn't seem to be based on when the 1st post in this topic was last edited. Perhaps a mod can help.

I cannot do the walkthrough mod as mixdrop is a seriously sketchy website seeing as clicking 'download' send you to porn sites all the time, or just sits there and does nothing, on the last click after it counts down 3 to 1 it tries to send me to another website that is incredibly sketchy.
I can't do Patreon as I am unemployed and cannot afford to spend money on things like this...difficult enough having enough money for living expenses.
Does anyone have another way to get the mod...

I have encountered a bug that looks new to me. Honestly, maybe it's not and I managed to avoid it before, or maybe I don't remember it Still, I think it's v0.85 exclusive
When checking the plane before the trip to London, the MC tells Lois to go, he'll join her in a few. At that point he's supposed to tell Tilly (or someone else if she hasn't been hired I suppose) what he thinks of her very skimpy uniform. But I get an error that can't be bypassed (unlike with Cassie after anal-sex where it can just be ignored), forcing me to roll back. I don't think it has too much of an impact on the game (so far) since you can still bang her during the travel but maybe it'll define if she keeps the same uniform? I have no idea what variable caused it either.
Anybody know how to avoid it? And if it's new or old news?
It could be either way, since I also discovered a dream (or not) of Lois blowing the MC before waking him up on London's hotel, and I have no idea if I blanked on it or if it came with v0.85

Depends. v0.8.5 ends at the same place than the previous one, with the scared chick spying on the MC leaving the bar. If you load a save that ended there, then it goes back to main menu since it's still the end.
If it's something else, it could be a bug on the save itself or an issue with a mod

Is there a frightened character? If not, is there a character that's been burned by fire or acid, or has in the past suffered a wound from a sharp or penetrating object? If so, it needs another "r".

Don't know the characters yet - this one is on my list to get to.

does finish scene with cassie consider end? coz im pretty sure i save at that point.and when try load that save straight go to main menu.gonna takes time if wanna start new game.
