It doesn't need an incest patch to "add up again", because - despite the superficial similarities with an incest story setup - it isn't an incest story. There are no "original scripts", the way the story is, is the way it was intended. Roommate is not some codeword to sidestep Patreon rules, it is literally just the MC, as he is in a room-sharing situation both at home and at work.

I'd like to make an observation, not about any specific version of The Roommate but about the game in general. Every time someone loads a save file, the game's after_load function is called. It reassigns variables like temp, tempstr, & tempint while performing the calculations, operations, and functions needed to load the game. The problem is, the rest of the game also uses those variables all the time for many of the rest of its operations. So, if you save and load the game at the wrong time, those variables will get reassigned and the data they were holding on to in the save file will be lost, causing the game to behave incorrectly and unexpectedly. I think the part I've had the most trouble with so far was this set of lines:

The point is, functions.rpy, calendar.rpy, and screens.rpy might need to be checked and edited to make sure that they don't incorrectly rewrite variables being used in other files as a result of untimely saving and loading. My general suggestion is to replace all the offending instances of shared variables with new one-off variables. If I made a mistake in my conclusions, I'm apologize in advance, but I do think this genuinely constitutes a real, albeit minor problem with the game.

Bruh that's the most silicony pair of bolt-ons I've ever seen. You may not agree with the other guy in preferring the no-ab look, but from a real-world perspective he's definitely right; any girl with hardcore abs will have sub 6% bodyfat, and it's extremely hard to have boobs larger than a B with no body fat.

Again, it's fine to prefer that look in games, but that has no relation to the real world - it's no coincidence all female fitness models either have enhanced breasts or very trim chests.

If you and the author expect me to either always save all savegames of games I play or play the whole game again after every update, I will just never play this game again instead.
Its normal to get savegames for new content in other game threads or an option ingame to skip to new content so dont facepalm me for asking a simple question.

Save games are kept in AppData/Roaming also...so you never really actually need to keep the actual saves in the game folder or the game folder itself.

If you delete the AppData saves too..well..that's on you.

Sometimes you get the gist of the story in the first minute of an AVN, but then the uninspired dialogue keeps dragging on and on.I catch myself skipping that on some games. If you just want to rub one out you're not gonna care about long winded conversations, although I admit surfing pornhub is most likely a better place to get your rocks off in that case.
