More like a year and a half now.
From what Mr. Rabbit said, the main issue is the lack of support and the artist can't prioritize the project.
But now they just put out another game demo (granted by another member of the group), but it still contribute to further dividing resources instead of putting it back in this unfinished project.
So far as I can tell, this game is on indefinite Hiatus until further notice.

That's basically what you said, the lack of support has left us with no money to pay the bills hahaha. But we already have other plans for the game. At the moment, the game's artwork is completely finished, and we're going to re-release the whole game at once, with a few changes to the story. Coming soon.
