The game has been produced for several years, the storyline is basically nothing progress, could have been made into an excellent game, the result is that the game has been the plot is still in the early development. It feels like there is basically no progress in the storyline for several years.

Sure, but i'm not sure if the game is even playable at the moment.
If there's a chapter selector which would take you closer to the new content then i'd say give it a shot.
