Hey everyone!
AORRTA here.
Phew… I know, I know. It’s been a long four months since my last update. Honestly, every time I thought about writing this post, I felt a bit uneasy about how long I’d been silent. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize to every single one of you, especially those who've been patiently waiting. If you felt frustrated or forgotten, you have every right to, and I'm truly sorry. I promise, it won't happen again.
So, where have I been, and what's happening with 'The Secret'?
A lot, actually! All this time, I've been head-down, completely immersed in crafting the next episode. And frankly, it's grown into something genuinely massive. You know how it is when you start a small project, and it just… expands? That's pretty much what happened here.
Of course, real life always plays its part. I have a day job that helps keep the lights on and pay the bills – a necessity, but it definitely consumes a good chunk of time I'd rather be pouring into our protagonist's adventures.
Many of you are aware, and perhaps some aren't, that I use a wheelchair. While it's just a part of my daily life, there are times when even the familiar task of sitting and working at the computer for extended periods becomes physically challenging. This isn't a complaint, just a factor in the development process that can sometimes affect the pace.
And yes, I'm still a one-person team here at AORRTA. Every single render (and you know I'm meticulous about visual quality and strive to maintain that standard!), every line of code, sourcing the right music to build atmosphere, writing dialogue that resonates, even the translations – it's all handled by one person. It’s a significant undertaking, but I’m deeply committed to this project and every aspect of it.
What grand developments await you in 'The Secret' on June 18th?
I'm incredibly excited to finally share what's coming. This episode is a real concentration of events. Get ready for our protagonist's world to be turned upside down! You're in for a dizzying weave of plotlines: intense work challenges and trying to stay afloat, risky intrigues and evidence gathering, the development of romantic (and very steamy!) relationships with several women, unexpected alliances, and, of course, shocking twists. It'll have everything: from daily life and trying to keep things afloat to dangerous games and passionate moments.
We're also expanding the game world with a true 'sandbox' mode, allowing you more freedom to explore locations and interact with characters. And yes, there will be mini-games, but I swear, they're designed with care and will be organically integrated into the story, not just tacked on (I dislike tedious mini-games myself!). In short, you definitely won't be bored!
And now, a few words from the heart.
First off, I want to address you, my incredible Patrons. To those of you who've stuck with me through this long silence, who kept believing in 'The Secret' – guys, you honestly have no idea how much that means to me. Seriously, your support, your patience – it's what kept me going during the tougher moments and motivated me to push forward. Seeing you still here is a huge source of inspiration. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
I've always tried to be upfront with you. In the past, I’ve never directly asked for help like this. In fact, I’ve always said that if you weren't comfortable supporting, or if you saw delays in updates, you should feel free to switch to a free tier or pause your pledge. I’ve always stood by that.
But things are a bit different right now. The new episode of 'The Secret' will absolutely be released on June 18th. I'm laser-focused on this date and pouring all my energy into getting it done and making it top-notch. I know previous delays might have been frustrating, and I'm genuinely sorry for that. Right now, I'm more committed than ever.
And this is where, for the first time, I’m asking for a bit of help, if you're in a position to offer it. This final month before release is the most intense. Final touches, polishing, bug-fixing – it all requires maximum concentration and time. If you've been thinking about supporting the project, or perhaps renewing your pledge, doing so now would be an incredible boost.
To be crystal clear: this is by no means a condition for the episode's release – it's coming out! But your support would allow me to fully dedicate myself to the game during this crucial period, perhaps be a little less distracted by other things, and simply make this final sprint as productive as possible. Every contribution, no matter the size, translates into more focused time and peace of mind for me to polish everything to perfection. And, of course, it's a massive morale boost.
If that's not possible for you right now – I completely understand! Your presence here and your belief in the project are already tremendous support.

I know right? Now she looks like a 4 pack a day smoker. Why are devs on this site all deciding to redo their earlier work? Here's an idea- WORK ON THE BLOODY STORY and the Mom was fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That last update tho, MASSIVE blueballing, also looks like the dev was trying to go into the NTR route judging from how that mf Thomas talked with Mary for hours and suddenly she was like bewitched by a spell was all over him and all that. SMH
lol. Devs on this site. Imagine if regular games followed the pattern of adult games being made by people who don't understand how polarizing some things are.
"Yes our game is cutting edge with amazing graphics. You can play as any Allied soldier or the resistance. There is also a chance at some point in your playthrough that you will suddenly be revealed as a Nazi and and that you're gay. Then instead of liberating France you'll start rounding up people for execution and then go home to your boyfriend."
It's not hard to see NTR around every corner when your in-game mom disappears with some dude every day and comes home drunk. She also works with Black Long Dong Schlong who conveniently fucks the women for their "education". The whole agency thing is just irritating crap anyway. I wish devs on this site would tell stories about people not porn actors.
Judging from the plot looks like Thomas was Mary last ex, and she said something about it's been a long time since she had any sex at all, so after that point it was implied the last time was with Thomas. But man, why suddenly after he went through that door and talked for hours with Mary suddenly she was all over him and treated MC like shit. Idk why dev going into that route, what kind of plot he was thinking about. I love this game, it would be a massive disappointment if suddenly dev going into sharing route.
