The hair may need to be adjusted to be larger, you're probably seeing the cap.

You mean smaller, not larger. you want to hide the hair cap inside the forehead.

just use single step increments some hair assets have both width and length variables others just have a overall head size. if they are separate you usually only need to adjust one of the sliders.

With Elena hair selected try to find a slider called "Forehead Depth" on the parameters tab. Usually 9~11% is enough.
