Oh no, not the "Part game the reader", whatever it is.
And the what was ment in this comparison that goes as "Part Visual Novel"? Does this mean that VN stuff is "kinetic" (meaning it does not consists of choices, but rather another "press and hole Ctrl button" situation?) and there are some else elements that are not really impacting the story?

There's a period missing. It should probably have been "Part Visual Novel, Part game. The reader needs to build our heroine's resistance so that she can ignore the call of The Selkie".

I'm sorry to have caused confusion. I'm afraid I'm not up on all the terminology being relatively new to this game. There are choices that one makes in the game that will send you down one or another paths. By building resistance points, through those choices, the MC 'Jeanette' is able to resist the Faerie Glamour and continue her investigation. Failure to build the resistance then she will simply fall under the influence of the Selkie as many of the other villagers already have.

I'm just wondering what will be more interesting for me as a player, "resistance + or -"?
Will there be more paths, or just two?
I think it's great that the women are mostly mature, and some very mature, but will there be some teens? Or will there be a combination of gilf+teen?

Hi PhineasFlynn. There are two main paths planned at the moment but I have a habit of following my renders rather than the other way round so more may develop. At the ceilidh Flora McGann, the daughter of Donald and Isla, makes an initial appearance and in Part 2 she will be joined by Maggie MacLachlan, daughter of the shop owner and sister to Rory,. Both are young women aged 19-years, and will there be a combination? Who knows but I do enjoy old & young scenarios providing we don't push the envelope at the younger end. The Selkie draw their energy from sexual energy and younger donors provide a greater source.

Well that seemed a nice story but i realized that every time i made an "interesting" decision i was loosing points. It looked like big brother was watching me and judging me for being naughty.
So what's the point of that game, being the good wife true and obedient to her husband even if he seems interested in sharing.

True, but the story is far from complete. I'll say no more. On the other hand if you just want to see sex and debauchery you could deliberately lose!

Hi Eleanorduval. Lovely to hear from you again. I really appreciate your enthusiasm but I only released The Selkie Part One three weeks ago and I'm working hard on Part 2 but there's still some work to be done. There are updates on my Patreon Page for everyone, including Free Members, and there's also more in depth character notes to go alongside the game.

Quick question though: is that last pic in the OP (3 of them by the water) in this release or an upcoming one? Tried full awareness/non-awareness paths and it didn't appear. Just a yes or no is fine, if it's in this one it'll be fun trying path variations to make it happen. Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words. The pic with Heather, Jeanette and Rory on the beach appears in Part II which I hope to release before the end of September (no precise date yet).
