Rome is a cool theme but that means you are dealing with slaves, which touches on rape and violence, which Patreon isn't a fan of. Be interesting to see if rape is accurately portrayed but it almost never is.
Wow I am jaded, I just don't trust authors to make quality stories. They mostly use cliches as a crutch, which annoys me on a few levels. See a black man and a white women, Ohhh lets wait and see if the black man is aggressive, with an unrealistic big dick, and watch the white women say stop, but the pleasure makes he want the abuse in the end... /Gag

"ex-centurion, and now a free man" Centurions aren't slaves, Gladiators are slaves. And "Vitus"? Looks like the latin word "Victus" which means "Defeated". Bad omen, the knowledge about Rome of the dev doesn't look like too good.

On the other hand, Centurions at the Roman Empire were signing contracts for 20 years and they were not able to leave the army before. At the end of their contract, they were getting a large bonus, land and Roman citizenship. So, although they were not slaves, they were not real free men, they were living at army camps and do whatever their commanders tell them to do. Therefore "ex-centurion, and now a free man" sentence makes sense.

a centurion is not a simple soldier at the solde of the empire. its a officer. and as such, have the perfect right to ask anytime he want to leave the army for live with his family ( definitly leave the army , i mean to get back tocivilian life ).
an centurion ( officer ) is not "stuck" in teh army like a legionnaire or else non officer

Sorry, i don't think that is true. Most of the centurions came from the soldiers, (they are even elected) therefore they are bound to contracts. On the other hand, even today at the modern armies, officers are bound by contracts. For example, in my country, you can not leave the army until you become a major and even then, you need to pay a lot of money. So, believing that Romans who were a militaristic society allowed their officers to leave the army whenever they want is impossible.
On the other hand, even if a centurion can leave whenever he wants, you can not do whatever you want at the army, so centurions are not "free". Therefore saying that "ex-centurion, and now a free man" makes sense. When i left the army, i also thought of myself a "free man" too

Yeah it looked really interesting until I found out it was made by Kexboy. It's a shame because he has interesting ideas for his games but they pretty much always end up really short and bland.
