I barely noticed them, except when I first started and briefly thought the moon shape at the end meant something - and couldn't figure out what it was.

It broke the immersion for me, made my reading stall every time i got close to the icon ( concentration difficulties thanks to ADD). Now i can enjoy this wonderful VN

Can anyone confirm that this update is only side stories and has no new content to the main story?

Yeah only side stories, for gina, yuki and kagome. I liked them, and it has their usual quality but its very short. Maybe 15 minutes? gina and kagome side stories has a couple of variations depending on paths. Might be better to wait for them to release the rest of the side stories and play them at once.

You are probably using the multimod and it is bugged in Realm 3 and make skip events at the start of R3. Taking too long for the modder to find a fix for it.

If that is the case try to get to your last Realm 1&2 save in an unmodded install, check if the last save find a place to rollback, if not try an older save and skip to the end and save/transfer to R3 and then also an unmodded install of R3 use that unmodded save and that is it, that was what I did. Use the PDF official walkthrough if you need some guidance, link in the OP under "Walkthroughs".

That choice appears only if you sided with demons, probably you only saw the siding with witches playthrough.

And really it makes sense, siding with demons without consequences? Nah-uh I have saves for both witches and demons and on the demons I split another save there one for quarantine (you won't see Morwen and Idril due to the quarantine and hence why they said lose 2 harem members but you save most of the elves) and other to kill the elves (murdereeeeeeeer ) but you keep Morwen and Idril around. Maybe worth in Realm 4, maybe not.

Exactly that, there is no really bad consequences in the witches path in the Elven realm. Probably realm 4 the mermaids are more aligned with demons and the tricky choice will be for whom chose to side with witches.

I'm not gonna lie, I have those 3 playthroughs now but main one that I play first is still siding with Witches.

Too peaceful here to fight anyone, even more over a fictional game hehe and it is Sunday, the storm finally gone here in Portugal and the sun giving their first appearance since the spring started so it is time to relax .
