Don't listen to reviews or ratings, unless all reviews are 1-2 stars. Many of my favorite games have overall ratings like 3-3.5.

I don't pay much attention to the star ratings. I wish you could sort them, because it seems like almost everything gets a bunch of 5 star ratings at the beginning (the first few chapters) which doesn't tell you much. I do sometimes actually read the reviews - but only the longer ones. The ones that say "Good game I loved it 5 stars" or "Crappy game, why can't I turn the girls school into a brothel? 1 star" don't tell me anything.

I suspect another aspect of the polarized reviews is that some reviewers might only play Realm 1. Each Realm the render and animation quality gets significantly better so far. The most recent stuff is honestly some of the best render/animation quality I can think of in an AVN, but you wouldn't guess that if you only played Realm 1 for a short time.
I'm kinda mixed about this one. The Story can get interesting but the Scenes are kinda rough (they are janky, i mean the movements are), does anyone know if they improve over time? I played the first realm until she moved into the estate and got friends with the female vampire there.

They definitely get better. The current animations are some of the best I've seen in any AVN.
There's a huge jump in render and animation quality between Realm 1 and 2. It keeps improving from there, but it's more gradual improvements in Realm 3.

It's quite simple. People who say animation is bad only played R1 while people who say animation is god-tier played until R2.
Don't know why there is people saying story is bad though, it's honestly pretty good. I love the politics of it.

Yeah, it's really well written - and (almost) everything is about choice. A lot of curvy paths you can choose.

i wish they would leave animation out of it. It just causes huge data waste and takes away from the story. Avn's are not there yet where they can create convincing animation. There is virtually unlimited sights where you can get porn like content. That industry is seeing the future and they are scrambling to make as much as they can before it is obsolete. I know it will never be completely be obsolete,but once AVN's reach a certain level the porn industry will basically be like the small coke bottle. Everyone that likes Coke thinks they taste great but no one buys them.

Yea I've come to the opening the relationship choice, and Tasha was one of the options. But eh, just some lines I can't cross even in fiction. The homies girl and even with the greenlight.... it just ain't in me. Tis why I was saddened by the situation.
