Considering they are both perfectionists, having more than one dedicated servant/slave could possibly become messy.

I think there are two ways to look at it and I kinda get what he's saying.
A sub IRL would have to set boundaries in order to not be made to do something that isn't their kink or is outright undesirable to them. They're there to get off, not to get violated.
A game like TSOB though, because it's a fantasy, can safely explore things that a person would not traditionally be into, because the scenario in the game is that you are literally some sort of sex slave trapped in this world. So there are almost certainly players who, as an example would never let anyone penetrate them IRL, have a let live stance in this game and say "bring on the futa cocks, that's hot right".

The impression I get from the dev's post's on Patreon is that after this last Femdom City update he's (probably) going to move onto a different project, kinda sucks but it is what it is... he probably has to do that prevent burnout (understandable)... and Femdom City got another update so Shadow over Blackmore will get one as well, eventually...
