I load my previous save into 0.4.8, receive the visit of the goblins and the book, go out to do the whole pony farm thing, return to the motel and... when I then try to click "sleep" on the map, I find myself back at the pickup truck scene and the entire pony thing launches AGAIN. If I don't click "sleep" but choose the futa party (WHICH I HAVE ALREADY DONE EARLIER, BTW!) then return and attempt to sleep, then I get returned to the futa party instead of sleeping. Meanwhile, nothing ELSE related to the book triggers, as it is allegedly supposed to. WTF?!? This version is majorly fuxxored.

You got pegged by Bella and you have the sausage party girls in the sands. Sometimes overdose on too much of a good thing is one overdose too many.
I really hope that we are going to see a futa vampire soon!
You can tilt the lever to the max if all you wanna see is your preferred fetish, while developer is trying to tell a much more flamboyant and diverse story.

The fact that we are bottlenecked by the number of days is pretty sad. It's pretty immersion breaking, for me at least, to go back and forth between events and/or replaying the past choices in a different way in order to see the events I want to see.

I can either just play the events through saves but not "overwrite" and have it impact the story, or I can "retcon" my own playthrough for all the new stuff (and make it so I never did some of the older stuff). Not ideal. I think immersiveness is one of the strongest points of this game.

Immersiveness is achieved on the fourth or ninth playthrough, where you have some vague idea about what precisely it is that the other characters do while they are not with MC and can make a truthful roadmap for yourself, aimed at getting to the content you wanna see.

For example, the vampires keep abusing and transporting other femboys around town, something Bella tells MC as she is busy all the time, not sure why or where or with whom. MC gets into their den late in the game and sees their practices, but he can canonically meet Eliott and see the many bite marks, freshly drained and still bleeding, when he comes to work at dawn for another full day of work, looking to keep one-upping the MC.

When you think about it, MC is certainly slacking hard, with all the side activities where certain ”femmes fatales” would kidnap him for days on end, culminating with the Valkyrie having to bust in and effectively save MC outta the city.

There is no middle ground of having total control over game content - a true free roam would mean way more numerous and dozens of scenes to be available in order for repetitive days to be countless, but staggering it all by only a week's time, the Dev does not leave loose ends and we have nothing for freedom at all: MC can only go deeper into the belly of this beast, even though we already know where we are and where we are headed, this game being possible only through the sacrifice of a literal angel - the longest serving and favourite fem boy who offers himself sacrifice in order to save MC and give him the time, be it limited and spent servicing monstrous characters, in order for us players to explore the darkest corners of fantasy.
I think immersiveness is one of the strongest points of this game.

The contradictions are strong with this one.

the pace of the story is also unreal. its been just 4 days and waaaaaay too many story events happened. we didnt even get the chance to know more about the characters before something happen to them/with them.

I do find he has a valid point. My MC wants to join the tower and become a toyboy for Dommy Mommy Sybill Var'Artre but after the innitial training session he didn't have a chance to deepen the relationship with her and enjoy her training.
But well, it's only 4 days so far into the story and as I see it these days are just an introduction to the different NPCs and their background. Hopefully after it we will be able to navigate the map openly following MCs desires/kinks.

Come on, guys, don't you see that Blackmore is an improved M.A.N.T.I.S.? That is, each new update will now show a new part of the city, I'm sure of it.

In game logic we should be meeting new characters but storywise it feels off so many things happen right after we arrived. Remember the inviting list is so long MC is probably just one of the many new comers. Yet in 4 days we are introduced to people from so many different parties. And now we are already learning magic and summoning. It feels more like 4 weeks have passed.

Literally all they needed to do would be space out the same amount of content each update over say 3 times the days. That way you have time to roam around the town piecing together the atmospheric mystery, it doesn't feel like 10 things happening all at once in 4 days, and we don't get updates where you can't even play all the content without hitting the "that's all there is for now" screen because you didn't get enough extra nights.

This is not a sandbox or any open world. We got certain checkpoints during the gameplay where the plot train goes into the hangar to allow MC the necessary time to recharge himself in between shifts; the tower contract is the only one he is under all throughout the game and if he were to break said contract, we would get premature bad ends. We know other femboys can pull all-nighters of getting vampirism blood drained. We also know this is hell, a never-ending other space and time where MC is virtually immortal; no wonder his bad ends are for eternity - MC does not need recharge or sleep or anything, he just needs recovery time in between spells that all the demonesses put on him either by physical manipulation or mind meld. So, we have a number of events and we can make a short waypath to see all the content in a small number of playthroughs. This is still very much handheld and not a choose-your-adventure open-world or many a path game. We have a very stationary story that pulls all the stops while we sightsee the different places around Purgatory town, while this train of thought makes some stops along the way to total damnation.

All I hope is that once we learn witchcraft, it won't prevent us from being dominated by the characters. It would be cool if we had the choice between submitting or fighting back.
