No idea why that would happen, the patch doesn't change any variables in the game - it just makes a few conditions on the map screen less strict concerning day 4/5.

Back to the tower...?
With the public release of 0.4.8 we consider the update done for now since there are no gamebreaking bugs apart from the saving issue (the update does not function properly if you've had a previous save during the "someone knocks on your door" scene) ... and i can't do much about that apart from warning you guys.
Now, the mc is back in his bed and is about to wake up on Day five, marking halftime. Since I don't want to make smaller days in terms of content but I also don't want to stuff the update I've decided to split the Day 5 update in two parts. One will be going back to the tower, two will be that you meet some people after work! You will be able to vote on which faction these someones are from. But the tower comes first! You will have some explaining to do ... haven't been to work on day 4, have you?
I will start collecting the content now that I need for Day 5 part one and then I will start rendering.
It is getting cold and wet, so better stay in bed

I have almost all places that I want for the first part of day 5 and i already have done the dream sequence, since I got a very nice looking new gate.
The only thing i am still missing is a garage room. A garage room that has been made into a mini hospital or an examination room. Will be a lot of fun if I can pull it off!
I am also finally back at rendering some random artwork! I really want to make more over the next few days to get back into it and further improving my skills! So keep an eye out on deviantart and x!

Bloodlines...
There isn't much to update you on for this week, other than I will most likely be a bit more distracted than usual. Don't worry, still in my workflow and also back to rendering random artwork to improve my lightwork skills (and big butt shaping skills) you can see above .
As you might know Shadow over Blackmore is inspired by a lot of different things, and one of them is the World of Darkness, particulary the Vampire: Masquerade tabletop game.
I played the Pen and Paper and also I played the video game, Bloodlines. In fact I sometimes still play it today, there is an awesome community around the game that makes fan patches and stuff (the game was a buggy mess when it was released...maybe I took some inspiration from that as well).
So after all these years in development hell, Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will come out in 2 days...and while the reviews are mixed, I still have high hopes that they nail the athmosphere of a modern gothic vampire game...for some more inspiration for future Blackmore.

It's me or Dartoz has some lacking to improve himself? I mean the animations are poor, just a single angle. And the choices are mostly meaningless, it just extends the duration of the single view.

This game ascends into my personal favs list, it's almost perfect in every sense.
