Another week of good progress...if things continue to go smooth and I can stay productive like this, we might be looking at a release at the end of august. Of course it will not only depend on the rest of the rendering scenes (i haven't really rendered much inside the vampire club, yet) but also on how fast I will be with writing dialog and text...as always, I take one step after the other.
I am currently rendering a lot of random artwork that I post on social media, but I think it would be better to do another artbook instead (i can post the pictures of the artbook as well but have something more complete). This time I want to make something unrelated to Blackmore, but a fantasy or cyberpunk setting instead. For variety. Or a gladiator setting...was watching a new series on amazon prime. Maybe you guys have an idea for a setting, let me know.

Other than that, not much else to say for the week, one step closer day by day

The club is...
August 4
Not the best of weeks in terms of progress. I have some trouble with the lighting in the club and the duration of the render time. I think I am splitting the club in 3 areas: Dancefloor, lounge and fun.
Fun being something like this:
Early artwork: I call it the blood tank. Problem again: Water+Lights=Long ass render time. Also lots of reflections and I feel like not all of them are needed. Also bubbles are still white instead of red...
The lounge area is what I am unsure of. It should be an area where the vampires hang out with their subs and suck some blood. Here is an early artwork but I will probably change it, I am not really satisfied with it...
The dimmed lights look pretty cool, though...
If you have an idea on what should be in the vampire club or what has to happen in there, let me know! I can still add 1-2 scenes if I make the places a bit more render time efficient!

i am on the road and...
Yesterday
i am sorry guys i messed up. i am currently on the train to visiting my parents and i forgot to make the post for the week ready. it was not a good week anyway, not a lot of progress made. still fiddling around with the club, especially "dancing vampires". also i underestimated what is still missing, because the club is only the last thing of downtown, but getting back to your motel room and the next dream sequence are also happening. so it is club - going home (with a mistress, of course) - sleep - done.
only short progress update today, we will do a bigger one next week!

The picture above is the last lounge idea that I finally went with. I like it a lot but like most other club areas it is full of reflections and light sources. Meaning the "biting" scene happening there was a pain to render once more.
If things go very well I will be finishing all the renders and animations this upcoming week! It is the last days in the hot treadmill of rendering for sure so wish me luck
, the idea was to create an evil version of Mitsuru from Persona 3...she looks a bit older, though.That's it for this sunday! Now I get straight back to rendering and you guys...

Any idea regarding the update? Should be close as he mentioned during July that end of August may be possible.
