Ummm... And what is the difference between grass in the 1980s and today? Or pavement? Streets? Clothes?
Unless you can tell me what exactly is so "not-1980s", I can't give you an answer. And I know very well how the 1980s were.

Who told the dev that a 2 minute intro of warnings with no way to skip is a good idea?

That was... really fast. Hi, all, I'm one-half of this developing team. My friend and the other half of our team, DeVNCraft, can give you technical answers - or fix those loading/closing screens. I'm using CTRL to skip through them because I saw them thousands times.

First off, Lov. Why are YOU using Ctrl to skip them when you KNOW there is an option? Beside during testing I mean

For everybody else...this is literally displayed at the end of them explaining you can shut them off entirely....I was under the impression that some people actually read lmao. Guess I was wrong, I'll make them skippable from go in the next release or add one of those nagging Yes/No screens instead.

It also allows you to skip them after the first time regardless of the option and set its to warnings only after the first load.

Unable to skip the ending.. Is slightly frustrating.

You can just exit the game at that point, it autosaves for you before them (and once again) tells you about it. Those are the credits for other people...I'm sorry to say I won't be changing those.

I'm going to go make the intro skippable since people can't seem to watch it even once...and it was pretty damn funny too if you read them IMO. I'll figure out how to get the links up when i'm done.

The cafe? A modern cafe. College kids in 1985 didn't hang out in coffee shops drinking espressos like modern college kids do these days. We hung out in malls or parking lots (sometimes diners).

Appearances? Where's the big hair? The perms, mullets, waves, etc? Even jheri curls or mohawks lol. Their hairstyles are more modern than 80's styles. The clothing? Come on. Do I really need to explain that? It's the same clothes you see in modern day setting VNs. There's nothing 80's about it.

I have to disagree here, I think he did pretty good with the clothing all things considered. The way they speak....eh...that's up for debate. The clothes though I feel is more coming from what your used too in other VNs...nobody dressing like people in either would be more accurate, so you would need to hate on pretty much every game in existence

These are all obvious things. You said you knew how the 1980's were? Were you a college kid in the 80's? If so, I don't know how good your memory is, but even a quick google search can show you what 1985 was like as a college kid. And it wasn't this.

Honestly, I never touched DAZ or any other 3D modelling software in my life before this game, but I think with every render can be seen my improvement. Thank you for your good wishes!

I'm uploading new links to post now, the itch.io links are already done. Intro is as skippable as ren'py will allow without a complete remake in the new version.

This... is more acceptable and explains a lot. Apologizes if I offended, I'm American and was looking at this through an American 1980's impression, not European. So, it could be exactly that. Your experience of the 80's probably very much differs from my experience of the 80's.

Didn't mean to insinuate that you were lying or anything. I'm old too lol. My memories from those days are not the best. But you already cleared that up with the above.
