It's meant to be 1.8, but starting at Episode 2 and above we decided to use something more along the lines of what other sites keep putting there...not because of the sites, but because we don't want to end up with a version 102.8 later on down the line
Then, looking more closely at the game thread, I guess I would ask why Bob is the owner of your game thread; after all, that would give you full control over the thread title (which read 1.18) dev notes, and changelists etc.
We didn't want to take over the game thread. There are some practical advantages for us as developers.
Bob is doing a better job than we would, he's also managing likely hundreds of them if how many I've came across personally is any indication, right along with other uploaders. Hell, he even helped me with my first macOS build or it likely wouldn't have worked, and he's in the credit's (about-->thanks) for everything he has done--particularly that.
I had actually offered to upload for the site myself before I shut off my internet for personal reasons. If it wasn't in our potentially best interest to leave the page in his care, I wouldn't have done so.

so to clarify on the girl on girl stuff the only way to avoid would be to reject threesome and there would not be variations of the threesome where we could choose if it happens or not?

I won't answer for LoVNCraft but they might have doomed themselves to the type of scenario your suggesting (assuming you mean to choose either of the two girls or both) because they have the code setup to let the player end certain character paths...which ones and if it would affect the threesome scene only they can answer, I'm just going by the code aspect and the comment you quoted.
Lov likes switching up the scene variety based on player choices, so if you ended one of the paths I can't see him showing the exact same scene in any scenario...even if it led to the same animation. That's entirely their choice--I never interfere with their story plans beyond suggestions and I'm not the one staring at DAZ all day long
As this is a "story-first" type of AVN, you'll learn things about the girls - who is straight, who is bi etc. - and based on those things, you'll know what kind of potential threesome you can expect.
