You can only use the cheat menu plugin for souls anyway. Every other value you'll have to find through Cheat Engine by searching for RPGMaker VX values. You install the plugin by making a www folder and putting the js folder in it then running the patcher. Once it's done, take the js folder out and delete the www folder.
Search for it in the cheat engine forums and you should find the formula and a guide to install it
So I input the RPG VX type as a new custom type in cheat engine, but still can’t find any of the values. Is there some setting I’m supposed to enable?
This isn't a traditional rogue like. The crafting is the main form of challenge.
It's straight up a lewd Mystery Dungeon game, which is legendary for RNG screwing you over. I'd argue that this one's lenient by comparison, even, since the RNG can also save you if you stumble on soul drops or erosion circles, or with good parries, you can quickly get busted as all hell once you master the crafting system and if you stockpile soul drops you always have a "oh fuck" button in the cursed sword. Not to mention Focus (parry up the wazoo) and Haste (you get two actions before the enemy's turn) being absurd status effects that you can easily acquire using skills. Try ehancing a good weapon with a Focus potion to increase the parry ticks and then use haste and enjoy how quickly your parry rate ramps up.
Maybe lenient by comparison, but it doesn't make it any more enjoyable. The RNG can save you, but the only buff traps that I've appreciated were erosion reduction and the vast majority of traps were major fuck-yous that have lost me runs with zero counterplay. I was backpedaling from a crowd and just barely hanging on using a rapier and focus potions then stepped on an explosion trap and died. I think what escalates this game even further into unreasonable is the insane inventory limitations that just make every element of the game worse. Then the crafting is more frustrating than novel because my attempts at documenting all of the recipes only revealed that there's RNG in that too.
I can make it through the dungeon and reach the rest points literally every time. Even if I enter the dungeon with nothing.

I'm not into maledom at all, I just like my porn games to be porn-games, not simply games that happen to tack on porn. Like I started off kinda hyped because the tone of the game is so melancholy, and that can be intensely erotic if it's used, especially for femdom. The detail to which I could go on about how porn games have the potential to be uniquely erotic is a little bit embarrassing if I'm entirely honest. To reuse the vampire example, I expected she'd go bloodsucking or something. Or, even cooler, uses some kind of lewd mind control as a potential attack. Integrate the lewd stuff into the gameplay rather than having it as an afterthought.

true enough most games cant really hit that golden ratio of gameplay+porn but those who can get close to it are pretty fucking dope as it not only heightens the pleasure gained from playing it and winning but also rewards with good sexual content which just repeats in a beautiful cycle. This game aswell has good gameplay but as was stated due to the porn being just optional its quite sadge though i could see ason if there was aaaaalooot of cryouts about the content being integrated he could just add it without a problem, though i guess thats not exactly his plan atleast not for now
sounds like you got some bad luck with RNG. for the first boss, getting haste or movement skills is super helpful in dealing with the summoning crystal early, as well as lets you avoid attacks/get some distance if you need it. The wind knife is a nice starter to go for, needing only 3/3/3 to be crafted. you'll want to break it and use it's scraps when enhancing a new one a couple times to boost the skill level. After that, I believe just setting aside a high damage weapon with damaging skills just for the boss is helpful. I don't think there is a tier 1 weapon with base light damage (its weakness), so just hit with with all you got. There were some explanations on the forging mechanics a few pages back so giving that a look would probably do some good.
You can guarantee craft it by using a windstone and any of the other early game materials as well. Stack the skill on a single shard multiple times and you can get a pretty long haste duration for the fight.
And it's better to leave the dungeon through the bells than losing since you keep most of your stuff, and all of your souls. I know it sounds obvious, but I'm not sure about the skill level of someone stuck at the first boss.
