Meh, i was also with this game from the start and liked almost every scene and rather would have continued. But the story didn't really flow and some scenes happend very ad-hoc, So I understand why OMVN might want to do a remake/remaster to clean it up. Besides if the two-week-update schedule is consistent, you'll be back.

Wait huh remake? Why? This game was already one of the best looking ones on this site.... also does that mean that there is no new content?
Edit: Ok played it not only is there no new content there is barely any content at all period.
I don't know this is kind of a head scratcher I read the change log so I know his reasoning for doing a remake but it just seems unnecessary, I assume the remake will be in catch up mode for at least half a year/full year to just get back to where the old one was so yeah.

Unfortunately, the original game and the remake access the same save files.
for the remake you should not try to load old saves.
Just finish the damn game 1st, why remake something thats not finished and we have to wait 2 years until it catches up to the old game

I'm kind of meh about remakes when they're so far in but if the dev keeps what they said about updating every 2 weeks instead of months I think it'll be fine. I'm still not sure if I like the new models. I guess I'll have to see once we get into some actual sex scenes. I'm neutral atm but I think the story is being more fleshed out so far which is a good thing.

The original renders were some of the best I have seen, so a visual remake seems quite unnecessary. Remaking the story and game design are fine I guess as long as family fun times don't get removed. I don't see a patch, does that mean we can name relations?

i wish the dev would just continue the story. im not normally the person that complains when a dev decided to remaster their old art work but it does annoy me because it take so much time away from developing new content. i get why devs do it, when the start of a game looks like it was done by a different artist it would bother me too, but iirc the art was never bad (maybe im forgetting how it was, but it definitely wasnt so bad it needed to be redone). there also isnt that much done, so hopefully it doesnt take too long to get to the new content again, maybe the dev will alternate between new and rework but since the point system has been reworked it may not be compatible.
Even though i hope it doesnt take too long to finish this rework, the story is kinda a mess i wouldnt mind the story getting a partial rewrite, like i dont even remember what is the shrink is, i know its a term that means therapist but i dont think thats accurate in the context.

Another one to delete. Remaking is bullshit unless it's after the original is complete. Why do devs do that? It's basically the same as abandoning and starting a new one.
TBH I don't mind the idea of a reboot as much as I mind the actual product. Alice and Aiko's faces look a bit off, not really an upgrade. The mom and Melissa look great, but it's a bummer when half the family members come out of a graphics remake looking (IMO) worse.
